A busy September is coming soon with the start of a new school year will be left behind, however, like the other two autumn months- rustling with yellowed leaves October and slushy November. Only jubilation and joy are ahead, we will celebrate the New Year 2017!

A noisy chic feast, a Christmas tree sparkling with multi-colored lights, garlands on the windows interspersed with snow-white snowflakes and vytynanki, fireworks exploding here and there, sparklers, congratulations from the head of state, the inexorable countdown of chimes, the clinking of glasses, champagne cheerfully hissing with bubbles and dancing until you drop - all this fun is fast approaching us. You won’t have time to gasp, as a new milestone will come in the life of every person.

It’s good that more than one day, or even two, is allotted for the celebration of the New Year - the whole New Year holidays await the Russians in 2017. It is important to think over the entertainment plan for this period in advance. What vacation is ideal for families with children, and grandparents, and couples in love, and a group of young people? New Year's Eve 2017? Where can you not only warm up, but also soak up the atmosphere of creativity, art and beauty? Certainly, we are talking about to visit museums during the New Year holidays 2017.

Many cities in Russia during the New Year and Christmas holidays provide their residents and guests with the opportunity to go to museums and exhibitions absolutely free of charge. In our article, we will tell you about the amazing places in the capital of our Motherland, where you can “touch the beautiful”, and be filled with that indescribable energy, thanks to which you want to compose poetry and prose, write songs, paintings, in a word - create!

Cognitive rest

Just think - a lot of Moscow museums will work for free during the New Year holidays! Is it worth talking about the diversity and beauty of these wonderful repositories of the gifts of art? Throughout the year, or even more than one, many Muscovites and guests of the city do not always have the opportunity, and material, including to visit the museum, take their children there ... In January, there is a great chance, when this is not only possible, but even necessary, especially if you are a resident of this wonderful metropolis.

Moscow museums, which will work free of charge during the New Year holidays, will open their doors to visitors from January 2nd. The date that ends the free visit is different for each institution, but, approximately, it will be the 13th or 15th of January.

It must be said that the number of museums that participate in such a charity event is significant. For example, in 2016 it was possible to visit 86 museums in Moscow for free during the New Year holidays.
