Almost 24 years ago, on October 25, 1990, the first episode of the Field of Miracles TV quiz went on the air. Over its more than 20-year history, the show has become truly popular. Eight years ago, as a family, we were forced to solve words every Friday at dinner with the players behind the wheel of fortune. We did this, of course, out of respect for the grandmother who lived with us, and the "Field of Miracles" was for her the second most important TV soap after "Santa Barbara".

I personally was annoyed by everything: this Yakubovich, terribly tired (it’s obvious!) From the lucky ones who came from all over the world, and kisses, hugs, dances, songs, the stupidity of some players who, it seems, don’t even know the Russian alphabet, don’t not to mention just remembering the question just asked by the cynical presenter. And gifts! God, how did they drag it all in: jars of tomato-cucumbers, self-baked cakes, bottles of vodka, moonshine and some kind of infusions; this aunt, wandering, in my opinion, from one channel to another only because she found a rhyme for her village Kokteben and now everything rhymes with swear words, waving a broom at men's pants, which leads most viewers into indescribable delight!

Yakubovich, apparently, is already sick of all these gifts and souvenirs, songs, dressing up either in a welder's suit or in an Uzbek robe. Where do they put all this, and, most importantly, why do they taste who knows what?
We brought grandmother to tears with our sharp comments, and, most importantly, with the fact that we guessed everything in a row before the players. Disgraceful transmission! Dumb! Yakubovich "mows cabbage" in advertising, that's all! Could have done something smarter!
In the end, the granny, driven to rage, waved a towel at me and said: “You are all so smart, why don’t you go? only there!"

I won’t repeat the letter I wrote now, I didn’t save it, but when they read mine, everyone laughed, including my grandmother. She said then: "Yakubovich will think that we are all some kind of crazy ...". But she gave the go-ahead to send it. Only now I didn’t understand how to send it over some kind of Internet, mail is more reliable ....
We laughed and clicked on "send mail"! The children said: "Well, if YOU are not invited, then everything they have there is a setup!"

Friends laughed at us and twisted at the temple - the grandmother all day, while waiting for us, rang on the phone.
And I thought and decided - let's go, for us the trip is a joke, but what a memory the child will have!
I called and confirmed my participation. We refused the hotel, because our gypsy neighbors gave us the key to their temporarily empty Moscow apartment.

We were gathered in some large hall, there were not enough seats for everyone, because with each player there were from one to ten relatives. By the way, not all the escorts got there, there are not enough invitations. And invitation cards for shooting are somehow sold in advance somewhere.

Filmed five games at once, each with nine people, well, that is, three "triples".
Yakubovich entered to our applause, because we had been waiting for him too long. He said hello and apologized for continuing to talk on the phone. In the second minute, we realized that he was talking to Makarevich. A whisper began: “He is talking to Andrei Makarevich!”, They fell silent, “glued” ears .... Kisilev slipped somewhere through the hall! Mitkova was arguing with someone in the corridor, we did not hear her voice, but we saw through the glass wall how she was waving her arms. “You are one of 50,000!” - said our mustachioed presenter, - “You are already so lucky that, I ask you, do not think about such nonsense now as your possible win! You must help me put on a show! And the prize, winning is no longer the main thing for you. Everything, of course, will be, but take it easy!
Sift everything that you brought, choose only what is really interesting, do not give any bed linen if it is not embroidered by your hands, do not make me eat your food. I don’t have such a strong stomach, I eat before the broadcast. Look at what you may have spoiled, rotten along the way. Do not carry much, even if it is very fresh."

The interview lasted eight hours, until the evening, that is, therefore, it is impossible to tell everything. But, believe me, I have never been to a more interesting and funny meeting!
Everyone needed attention and different ways they tried to draw attention to their person - after all (and indeed!) for several years they tried to break through here, to get on TV. I was even somehow ashamed when a Muscovite Georgian woman sitting next to me, a mother of nine children, said that for eight years, with a break of two weeks, she sent the same letter in the hope of getting to Leonid Arkadyevich. When she asked if I had been waiting for a long time, I lied that it was about the same .... She felt so sorry.
Yakubovich begged not to broadcast greetings to his daughter Varenka, said that, they say, he would cut it out anyway. Do not say hello to her and his wife, they still do not watch this program, even he himself.
I began to look at Arkadyevich with different eyes. Everything he said and how he behaved was very different from my idea of ​​him.
For example, he pleaded with “ordinary” people: “Greetings and kind words to the boss, chairman of the collective farm, director of the plant, please speak only if you personally know and respect him! then you will fall out of love normal people, Your countrymen. Earlier, when Yakubovich “break off” some player, even almost mocked someone, I thought with indignation: “Well, boor. Such a cynic! You can’t do this with simple village naive!”
Now I understand - he is TOO reserved! I would actually kill some there: one sits with a calculator - calculates what tax he will pay if he wins a car, how much customs clearance will cost - it may be more profitable to take money; another asks - at least hint, if a carrot is planted in a suitcase, he is the boss, he is afraid they will laugh at home; the third drags by the elbow to the side - "These are the gifts for you PERSONALLY, you will support me ...".
I sat behind the rows on the windowsill next to two men. One is a young firefighter from Tver, Sergey, the second, with awards on his chest, a mustachioed, most pleasant old man from Ukraine, Valery Arkadyevich. We reacted in the same way to this whole “performance”, and quite naturally got to know each other during the “play”.
In short, the main thing is to fool around, knowing the boundaries of what is permitted!
Sweating, tired, with jaws playing on his cheeks, Yakubovich said goodbye to us until tomorrow. Wish you good luck.
Now the directors invited us to their tables, having divided us into threes according to some pre-prepared plans. But we, me, Sergei and Arkadyevich, pestered them with a request not to separate us. We're already a trio! Ripe.
The directors in a conversation with us tried to fish out for themselves something extraordinary in everyone.

At the exit from Ostankino, all of our big company(there are three of us and our relatives) did not want to leave at all. We went to a cafe, sat until midnight, drank champagne for the USSR, then separately for our sisters - Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, our children met, left us and hung out somewhere in the adjacent shops ...
Arkadyevich said that he would constantly call the letter “b” so that the Galina Blanka prize would fall out, Sergey said that he had extinguished the Ostankino TV tower just before that - the prize was guaranteed to him, and I have the only clue - my eerily funny younger son Ilya. We have already enjoyed our communication so much that it remains only tomorrow to run to the shooting of "Field of Miracles", and - we can continue!
Each of us said that if he wins money prize, divided by three! But with Seryozha, we secretly agreed in this case to give everything to our veteran - Valery Arkadyevich began to fight at the age of 13 in the Navy, he was a cabin boy, was in captivity, well, you understand ....
We all came to the dressing room (and we really need it - we didn’t sleep for half the night, soaking the meeting of the republics!), while the men stared at the breasts of the beautiful Rimma (from the three assistants decorating the program), powdered the noses of the ladies, then the children, then the simplest - they combed the men and gave everyone in the ass - it was necessary to hurry, it was stuffy and very crowded in the hall, the audience (the hall) was already sitting there, suffering on some kind of Lilliputian chairs.

The second "troika" could not start in any way, because the grandfather was crying alone. To him former students piled up on a cow, he brought milk in a five (!) Liter jar, when he left the elevator at the studio, he broke it ... it is impossible to replace, where can I get a five-liter? And the other grandmother will immediately recognize, “bite through” that this milk is not hers, a substitution!
Arkadyevich very intelligently scolded the girl director for the lack of initiative, said that this “troika” would go third, and she would take a taxi to the market for milk and a can. “Call, look, I will calm grandfather!”

Well, we're out! We joked so that poor Yakubovich couldn't stop us, we didn't kiss, we didn't dress him up, but we had so much fun that the whole audience laughed and had fun. When Ilya mine sang “It’s been a hard day’s night” by the Beatles, the presenter “died” to the drum! It's not even "Yesterday", but a complex composition!

We were filmed for about forty minutes, milk and a jar were taken to grandfather for two hours, he was happy!
The third trio came out. There was a “star” in it, from where I don’t remember, either from Perm, or from Penza, I don’t know Russian cities well. In the end, the enraged Arkadevich kindly asks: “What, you idiot, don’t you know other letters? Already made me laugh, that's enough!”, he answered angrily: “Why should I tell others GOOD letters?”

We again spent the evening in a cafe, throwing our prizes into a corner under the supervision of children. We said goodbye ... Everyone - on the trains, home ...
The cry of the waitress brought us back from the opposite side of the highway: “Lord, this is the first time I see such “fools”! Take your prizes!
We are still texting: Russia, Belarus (and not Belarus!) and Ukraine!

The worst thing was at home: so many people called us that we didn’t know so much. At work, at the institute with my son, in kindergarten, neighbors, we had to tell this story, because the broadcast was not soon, only at the end of October they showed it.
And, it turns out, until this day there were "flowers" ...
Now my aunts just stopped me (I was painted a bright red color!) on the street, the children pointed their fingers, they let me out of the queue in the village council, because I did say hello to my village. Thank God also that on the air our performance was cut from forty to three minutes!
I urgently cut my hair, repainted ... Everything calmed down ...
Since then, "Field of Miracles" I have not watched even once!
And on the eve of the New Year, literally in a day, on Friday, the phone, already not silent, was torn from the news: "Hurry, turn on the first channel - your" Field of Miracles "is repeated!"
I barely survived another month of "fame" ...
Then, two years later, she slightly strayed from the (hidden!) vacuum cleaner received as a prize in the Russian Federation. For him ("soap dish") some unimaginable tax, a fine for late payment and a penalty were required!
And the mammoth, given to Ilya by Uncle Lenya, is in our place of honor above the fireplace!
