Author's song Grushinsky Festival. How is the Grushinsky festival

17.02.2019

The Grushinsky Festival is a song festival that has been regularly held near the city of Togliatti since 1961. The festival bears the name of Valery Grushin (1944-1967). Official name - "All-Russian festival author's song named after Valery Grushin. (Appendix No. 1)

The first festivals gathered mainly tourists and art song lovers from Samara region. This festival gathers tens of thousands of people not only from all over Russia, but from countries near and far abroad.

“He died saving children ...” So in a few words they tell the story of the life, feat, deed, death of Valery Grushin. (Appendix No. 2)

Valera studied, together with his friends he went hiking in the Sayans, Altai, Carpathians, the Kola Peninsula, the Urals, and sang songs. Most often, he was the leader in the group - he knew how to do almost everything, he was the first to go through difficult places, he took the largest backpack. Classmates and comrades speak of him as an open person, with easy temper, light. He was probably just happy: young, talented, cheerful, the soul of the company. It's all from childhood.

When Grushin's group stopped on the Uda River, everything went on as usual. At the weather station, they managed to get food, they were going to swim further along the river. Then a tragedy happened - Valery Grushin died: the boat capsized before his eyes, the children ended up in icy water, Valery rushed into the water. He managed to pull the girl ashore, swam after the boy, and disappeared. The boy was soon found downstream, Valera - no ...

And today friends remember that they did not believe for a long time, they were waiting for him to return, there would be. It's just that people like Valera must be there - nearby or somewhere far away, but certainly be.
In 1968, in the city of Kuibyshev, friends decided to meet to remember Valery Grushin, who died a year ago. All of them were tourists, they liked to sing songs, their own and not their own, that they simply liked and that’s all… That’s why it was thought of organizing a hike: with tents, bonfires, guitars. Gathering named after Grushin - that was the first name. Since then, it has been customary among friends to remember Valery Grushin only in this way.

Under my Samara, in the silence of the Mastryukovsky lakes,

The "musical bonfire" is lit in the summer sometimes

In these marvelous places, once a year, the nightingales are not up to sleep, -

The stage in the form of a guitar is gently rocked by a wave...

The sounds of music flow easily until dawn, until morning.

And the Mountain sings with inspiration along with the stage.

Lanterns dance with lights in each hand!

Either not moans over the Volga, then songs float along the river. (Appendix No. 3)

Grushinsky Festival - became the All-Russian Festival of Author's Songs named after Valery Grushin. It takes place annually on the first weekend of July at the Fedorovskie Meadows near Samara, on the picturesque bank of the Volga River. Thousands of lovers of bard songs gather here not only from Russia, but also from other countries of the world.

It was especially popular in the late 1970s, when it was visited by about 100 thousand people, and in the late 1990s - 210 thousand participants.
The festival was interrupted in the 1980s when the official authorities closed it, and for several years the festival was not held, but was revived again in 1986.

The festival is held not only to bring together lovers of art songs in beautiful place, but also in order to familiarize young people with music, poetry, tourism and sports, preserve and develop the author's song, identify talented authors and performers, promote healthy

lifestyle.

Traditionally, during the festival days, several creative venues-stages are open, where competitive program. Concerts are held here day and night, and friends gather around the festival bonfires day and night. True “pears” will never drive a random traveler away from the fire at night, and therefore “night gatherings” around the fires can bring a lot of pleasant acquaintances

But the most important thing at the festival is still a bard song, the discovery of new authors and performers. Among the laureates of the Grushinsky Festival different years such famous bards as: A.Dolsky, V.Lantsberg, A.Sukhanov, A.Lemysh, E.Schibrikova, L.Sergeev, V.Egorov, G.Khomchik, N.Vysotsky, A.Maysyuk, V.Trofimov, ensembles " white guard”, “Green Lamp”, “Almanac”, “Rare Bird” and many others. The festival is “own” for such famous performers, as Alexander Gorodnitsky, Viktor Berkovsky, Boris Vakhnyuk, Sergey Nikitin, Yuri Vizbor, Oleg Mityaev (whose song "How cool ..." became practically the anthem of the festival). (Appendix No. 4)

The Grushinsky Festival is an event for true romantics, tourists, lovers of a good author's song, for whom the main thing is the beauty of the world around us and simple human communication. After all, the Grushinsky Festival is always new meetings, new songs and new discoveries.
The purpose of the festival is to emphasize and highlight all the best that has been and is in such a multifaceted and unique domestic genre as the author's song, which is of great importance in the development of Russian culture.

"Poetry is superior genus art. Every other art is more or less constrained and limited in its creative activity the material through which it manifests itself. Poetry, on the other hand, is expressed in a free creative word, which is both sound, and a picture, and a certain clearly articulated representation. Therefore, poetry contains all the elements of other arts,” wrote Vissarion Belinsky.

What is most valuable in it is weight and accuracy. poetic word. An independent outlook on life. Appeal to the educated stratum of society. In the USSR, it was an important part of the "second", alternative culture and stood out clearly against the background of permitted, official poetry and songs.

But there is another way to preserve in society this intellectual and aesthetic outlet, individualized and intelligent "singing poetry." A path similar to that which has long been followed by free civilized societies, in particular France with its brilliant constellation of singing poets. There, the “musical verse” also arises from opposition - but not to a harsh regime, but to kitsch, pop, standardized popular culture. But the current Russian “pop music” will give European or American a hundred points ahead in terms of the wretchedness of thought and taste, the primitiveness of words and music! Here's a new appointment for authors " literary song"- to continue among this insane stream a trickle of smart song culture, said Vladimir Aronovich Frumkin (born in 1929) is a well-known musicologist, journalist, and essayist.

Photographs of the Grushinsky festival taken from a copter. “This is what the main parking lot of the event looks like,” the author writes. “There are many, many hundreds of cars here. But this is only a part of the cars, a large number of hidden behind trees. There is even a helipad here. Many set up camp not on the clearing itself, but on numerous channels, away from the main movement. And here is a view of the famous Grushinsky guitar. They say that once upon a time this staircase did not exist, you had to go down almost head over heels from the railway platform. Below is one of the police camps. There were a lot of her. The Ministry of Emergency Situations and the medical service were also on duty. And this is how Grushinskaya Polyana looks below: the yellow tent is the center of the whole movement. There is a problem with the toilets, in my opinion, there are always queues, but most importantly, the smell spreads to large area. It seems to me that no chemistry is used there or it does not cope. But serious attention is paid to garbage collection, and this is super."

This year, for the first time in its history, the Valery Grushin Art Song Festival, which traditionally takes place in the Samara region on the first weekend of July, has been postponed to early August. The reason is the unprecedented security measures during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, six matches of which will be held in Samara on June 17, 21, 25, 28, July 2 and 7.

In 2018, the Grushinsky Festival celebrates its 50th anniversary. Bye main question: where to find funding sources? 3.5 million rubles from the regional Ministry of Culture cannot cover all items of expenditure.

“The issue with sponsors has not been determined, we are waiting with great hope that there will be some kind people who love the Grushin Festival, who will come to its aid,” said Boris Keilman, organizer of the Valery Grushin Art Song Festival.

So far, it has been decided to charge guests a fee for parking a car - 1,000 rubles. The price was the same last year. When about 30 thousand lovers of songs with a guitar stopped at the festival glade. About the same is expected in early August 2018. In many ways, the number has ceased to grow because the purity of the genre is observed. Deviations towards rock or rap are not welcome.

“There are songs that sounded when we were still walking under the table. They still live, and they are sung, but there are those who leave. Here we sing those songs that the people need, ”said Alexander Isaev, a member of the Grushinsky Trio.

Samara machine builders are engaged not only in supporting the industrial enterprises of the region, but also actively participate in cultural life provinces. At the 44th Festival of Author's Song named after Valery Grushin, which traditionally took place on the Mastryukovsky Lakes, the regional branch of SoyuzMash held several events at once. Firstly, the winners of the International Grushinsky Internet Contest were awarded. From December 1 last year to May 25, 2017, 700 works from 25 countries of near and far abroad were sent to participate in it. They were evaluated by an authoritative jury headed by Alexander Gorodnitsky. Master classes were also organized there, and then a competition. modern poetry. completed cultural program, held by Samara machine builders, a memorial evening dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the feat of Valery Grushin.

Last weekend, the 44th All-Russian Festival of Author's Song named after Valery Grushin was held in the Samara region. According to the organizers, this year the main bard meeting was attended by more than 20 thousand people. Order at the festival was guarded by almost 300 people. Unfortunately, there were some incidents - about 350 people were injured, including 57 children. Seven victims were taken to hospitals. Despite the dry law that operates at the festival, there were many appeals to alcohol poisoning. The security forces seized more than 115 liters of alcoholic beverages on the festival glade. In addition, due to high level water was flooded bridge across the channel on the road to the Volga.

“Despite warnings from the administration of the festival, barriers and calls not to take risks, people crossed this channel on a flooded bridge, waist-deep in water or by swimming, day and night. This led to sad consequences, so in one case, rescuers had to use hydraulic equipment to free the injured girl, ”the organizers said.

The festival has grown primarily spiritually. This is probably one of the only festivals of such a large scale where, first of all, the Russian language is heard. Russian speech. Where songs are heard about the motherland, about its most pressing problems, about love for each other, about humanity.

The festival glade is filled with guests every minute - in the morning there were already two thousand lovers of the author's song, and by the weekend the festival organizers are waiting for more than 35 thousand, which is more than it was a year ago.

Dmitry Ovchinnikov, Vice Governor - Head of Administration of the Governor of the Samara Region:

In the meantime, a little more "material" on the topic:

AND IF IN THE SECOND CIRCLE…

Until the beginning of the 60s, as they say now, of the last century, we interpreted tourism as “outdoor recreation, picking berries and mushrooms”. In our city, Kuibyshev, these years accounted for the mass organization of various clubs, sections, associations, detachments and interest groups, according to physical training both at the place of work and at the place of residence. We, at that time very young people who were looking for themselves, had an unusual craving for communication.
In 1959, the tourist section of the KATEK plant (later the Tarasov plant) was already registered, where I worked as a stamper in workshop No. 15. Very different guys and girls gathered in the factory tour section. Somehow it happened that I did not immediately come to the court in it, but this did not upset me. I freely came to gatherings and meetings with tourists of the Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute (KPTI), as being a student of the All-Union Correspondence Engineering Institute I was going to transfer to the evening department of this university. Without any interference and complexes, she could also look at tourists Aviation Institute(KuAI).
During one of these "peeps" to the aviators, I met Misha Kuznetsov and Valera Grushin. They didn't study there then. Valera worked as a mechanic in the boiler room of the Novokuibyshevskaya CHPP, and Misha, who was four years younger than him, went to high school and worked part-time at the DOSAAF school, which was on Buyanova Street in Kuibyshev. Valera already then saw himself only as a student of this institute, since his older brother Yuri studied there. I was related to the guys by the fact that we were looking for ourselves in tourism. By age, I was older than Valera, but outwardly I looked like a girl and they looked at me like I was a tomboy.
Once, the guys from my factory section and I gathered for three days of the May holidays to get out into nature. At the Srednevolzhskaya station, they got into an electric train car, in which Valera and Misha were already traveling. Something did not work out with their group: five people were going to go, but only they went. We decided to unite. When I asked my family if everyone had warned their parents about their three-day absence, it turned out that our tourist Gennady Plekhanov had not warned his mother. Valera and Misha said that, as a rule, they don’t do this at all. "On the corners", in my youth, I was a very cool person. Victor Gordeev remained the senior in the group. They were supposed to disembark in Tsarevshchina, set up camp on the Sok River, cook lunch and dinner and wait for us. We, with these three "bolds" got off at the Vodinskaya station. Received in the mail almost before closing. I myself composed the text of the telegram and told the guys that it should be given with all the punctuation marks. Appeals: mother, mother, father and mother, dear parents, dear ancestors - she invited the children to choose for themselves. The text was as follows: "..., I'm sorry that I went camping without warning, I'll be home on the fourth."
Gennady chose the address "mother", Valera wrote "dad and mother", and Mikhail - "dear ancestors." Much later, his parents thanked me very much for teaching their son, a difficult child, as they say now, wherever and with whomever he was, to come home to sleep at any time of the night. Naturally, my act did not cause delight among the guys, because in order to give telegrams we had to commit, in total, 12-kilometer forced march. Nevertheless, our relations with Valera and Misha did not deteriorate. Our tripartite friendship continued.
I have already said that the very first tourist sections of the city were created in KPTI and KuAI. The difference here was that the polytechnics self-organized in 1958 into a section, while for aviators, its work was actually directed by the Komsomol committee. Closer to me, of course, were the first, since I, in the end, still transferred to the second year evening department and every Thursday she went to meetings of the tourist club.
They were very organized and interesting: either in the form of weekend hikes, or as preparation for some tourist evening or the Student Spring festival, or as a discussion and development of summer season routes. The whole club discussed the courses passed in the summer or on winter holidays routes. Analysis of reports and tactics of passing routes, reading trip diaries, watching amateur films about trips and photos were the highlights of our meetings and allowed us to relive thrill that arose during the conquest of mountain peaks or the passage of complex rapids and shivers of mountain rivers.
Continuity was strictly observed in the club of tourists of the Polytechnic Institute: Volodya Yudin was the first real chairman, Yudin left the walls of the institute - Oleg Zabrodin took his place for four whole years. Zabrodin was replaced by Viktor Belotserkovsky, that Gene Silver. Then the club was led by Anatoly Furne, Sergey Soldatov, Viktor Krivosheev, Vladimir Veretennikov, Gennady Tsvetkov and Yuri Baev. At the time of the death of Valery Grushin and the organization of the first Festival in his memory, Anatoly Furne was the chairman. From those ancient times and until now, in my native KPTI, tourists of all student and non-student generations of Kuibyshev-Samara meet in the second half of April.
In 1962 he appeared in the city of the City Youth Club (GMK-62). I was with the guys and looked there. The members of this club were in the highest degree intelligent people Cast: Slava Klimov, Yuri Sorokin, Artur Shcherbak, Vyacheslav Pronin, Isai Fishgoit, Vsevolod Khanchin, Konstantin Titov and others. But the guys and I were somehow uncomfortable there. For me, Valera and Misha, the main thing in life was self-knowledge, and there is something else. The situation and relations in the MMC were somehow elite and seemed to us almost theatrical. Almost all issues were resolved not by general discussion, but behind the scenes. Maybe because we were much younger than them, it seemed to us that we were not really expected there, but simply tolerated as inconspicuous people. In short, we did not find our place in this club.
All together, the three of us, we often looked into the city, and later the regional club of tourists "Zhiguli". There they signed up for courses of tour organizers, boldly offered themselves as participants in trips to various leaders. But then we did not succeed. Then we bought tickets and went on a planned route through the Northern Tien Shan. The group there crept up very motley - from different cities of the USSR, different ages and tourism experience. Valera and Misha were the youngest in the group, but it turned out that they were the most independent and experienced. Baysaur, Charming, Orange passes conquered us and we decided that we were going all the way. Soviet Union from the Zhiguli mountains to the Carpathians and the Ussuri taiga, the Pamirs and the Khibiny.
Over the years we have kept in touch. Seen, however, less often: Valera began to study at KuAI at the Faculty of Radio Engineering, and Misha had to finish high school. But anyway: someone will call, and again we will get together, go skiing along our favorite routes, celebrate our birthdays with Valera (Valera was born on October 23, and I was born on October 28) or we will swim in kayaks along the Kondurche River for three or four days on May holidays. The boys knew everything about me. Before my eyes and with my help, their campaigns were organized, participation in rallies, competitions, festivals "Student Spring" was planned.
Before our eyes, Misha and Valerka's male friendship with Borey Keilman was born and his bright love for herself beautiful girl the entire stream of the faculty where he studied. In front of our eyes, over the five years of study at the institute, he turned into one of the leaders of Kuibyshev tourism, the main collector and propagandist of the art song genre that was emerging in the country, which at that time was called student or amateur. It was he, together with his classmate Boris Esipov, who brought this song to the theater stage of the Student Spring festivals in Kuibyshev.
The death of Valera Grushin shocked everyone who knew him at least a little. It shouldn't have happened, but it did...
To organize the search, Valera's father Fyodor Ivanovich and his friends Anatoly Golovin and Slava Petrukhin immediately flew to Nizhneudinsk. Fedor Ivanovich took over the organization of the search for his son. He connected Nizhneudinsk aviation, local fishermen and hunters, law enforcement Nizhneudinsk, district policemen of the village of Nerkha and the village of Porog.
Senior Grushin scrupulously sought out people who knew well the head of the weather station, Khadom Tretyakov. Various things were said about him. Some said that he good father, husband and boss - a workaholic. Allegedly, he alone cut a clearing 60 kilometers from Khadoma to Nerkha. They said that he was a good business executive - he was engaged in harvesting honeysuckle, shadberry and herbs. He could give this, as well as corned beef, dried grayling and mushrooms to those in need.
Others considered him a "dark horse", because he was appointed head of the Khadominsky weather station in the remote taiga because of delirium tremens. Allegedly, a lot of troubled people looked at the weather station's place, but Tretyakov was far from always in a hurry to report this to law enforcement agencies.
A year before Valerka's death, criminal cases were opened against him over the disappearance of a group of gold diggers and the death of hunters-poachers. In addition, he was charged with the illegal use of a motor boat, which was not listed in the inventory lists of the weather station.
They searched for Valerka until November 7, when sludge began to flow along the river. Local Nizhne-Udinsk fishermen, hunters and experienced tourists of Kuibyshev also participated in the search. During the search, they found two dead tourists from other groups rafting along the Uda, but Valera was not found.
After the tragedy, Misha and I often visited the Grushin family. They lived in Novokuibyshevsk. The family was large, friendly: grandmother - the mother of Valera's father, parents - Fedor Ivanovich and Bella Yakovlevna, sister Nelly, brothers Yuri, Mikhail and Alexander. At the time of Valery's death, his older brother Yuri Fedorovich had already graduated from the institute, was married and lived in Kuibyshev. Whenever we were at the Grushins', we always saw Mina Yakovlevna, Valera's mother's sister. Valera did not return from the campaign, and Misha and I felt as hard as his whole family.
In July 1968, at the next visit to the Grushins, and this time there were three of us - Zhenya Nedosekov, a friend and classmate of Valery and a participant in his last campaign, Misha Kuznetsov and I, the guys told their parents that in August they were going with an expedition to the Uda River to set a memorial at the site of their son's death. They came, as it were, to ask their blessings and parting words for this matter, to check themselves - whether they have the right to do this. Zhenya Nedosekov, Sasha Neretin, Yura Malanichev, Misha Kuznetsov, Zhenya Simanovsky, Lena Golovina, Alla Simanovskaya and two artists from the Kuibyshev branch of the Union of Artists took part in the installation of Valera's high relief. Funds for the creation of the monument were allocated by KuAI and collected by tourists from all over the city.
Looking ahead, I will say that Samara tourists still take care of the Grushin monument, visiting it almost every year. Five times the Organizing Committee of the Festival held trips to Uda in memory of Valery. The guys worked there, carrying out restoration work, cleaning the taiga around the monument. All five times these trips were led by the master of sports in tourism Vitaly Shabanov, and Zhenya Nedosekov was their commissar, as under Grushin. Participated in the campaigns, both young tourists and organizers of Grushinsky, and Valery's friends who participated in his search and erected a monument: Anatoly Golovin, Alla Simanovskaya, Elena Golovina and others.
It became more and more difficult to come and visit the Grushins each time, because in the family they were waiting for Valerka and could not believe in his death.
During one of these visits, Fyodor Ivanovich took me aside and handed me a letter of power of attorney to act on his behalf, a birth certificate and my son's passport. He asked me to get Valery's death certificate. He wanted to know in more detail the circumstances and details of the death of his beloved son.
From the moment the first group was organized to search for him, and there were six of them in six months, Fyodor Ivanovich tracked all their actions. The family knew that from September 1967 to May 1968 the river carried out about forty corpses, but Valerkin was not among them.
I couldn't refuse my father. After consulting in the regional club of tourists "Zhiguli" with Lyudmila Vasyanina and the rector of KuAI Viktor Pavlovich Lukachev, we decided that we needed to go to Nizhneudinsk. I took a leave of absence from work and moved out.
In Nizhneudinsk, at the regional Department of Internal Affairs, I met with investigator Major Viktor Trofimovich (unfortunately, I did not remember his last name), who was in charge of the events at Khadom. We came to the regional registry office with him. I provided a power of attorney and documents that Fyodor Ivanovich supplied me with, and the major provided some of his protocols and acts. I also provided a newly published article by the newspaper’s own correspondent “ TVNZ» Kira Lavrova about the death of Valera "Pole of Courage". But the registry office refused to issue a death certificate to me. We were told that on the river Uda, on the spit with Khadoma, five or six people die every year. Affairs last year were not yet finished with production, but their main argument was that a criminal case on the fact of the death of Valery Grushin had not been opened at all and no statements had been received from anyone about this. Nevertheless, the parents were still given a written explanation of the reason for the refusal.
In the same place, in Nizhneudinsk, Major Viktor Trofimovich helped me meet with the rescued children, and I faced another tragedy. The mother of the children, Zinaida Tretyakova, from the very moment of the misfortune that broke out on August 29, 1967, fought for their lives. As a mother, she blamed and cursed her husband for what happened on August 29. And as the wife of her husband, she justified him, defended him and complained about how not easy it was for him to run a large household, organize life at a weather station, which had only three people on staff: a boss, a meteorologist and a radio operator.
There was an inescapable pain in her eyes. On the night after Valery's death, she lost their father and her husband Konstantin Tretyakov, who shot himself in the courtyard of the house. Lenya, the eldest son, during the immediate rescue of which the exhausted Grushin died, having pulled him out of ice water niece Lyuda, was seriously ill. He was found in the Shiver, a kilometer downstream from Khadoma, he had a bad cold and was dying in front of his eyes. He had chorea - inflammation of the brain, and soon he really died. Younger son Nikolenka, who was pulled ashore by Tretyakov himself, constantly went into a violent cough and choked. He had a high temperature all the time. This was a consequence of severe hypothermia. Looking ahead, I will say that Kolya also died a few years later. Thus, soon there was no one left from the Tretyakov family except the mother. (What is there to blame the organizers of Grushinsky for the fact that none of the members of this family has ever come to the Festival?)
And, by the way, we made attempts to invite them. Fedor Ivanovich had the address of some relative of the Tretyakovs. A member of the Organizing Committee Lyudmila Vasyanina (Krivolutskaya) was responsible for meeting the guests, inviting them and seeing them off from I to XII of the Festival. At this address, from the II to the V Festival, she officially sent invitations to relatives on behalf of the Regional Council for Tourism and Excursions. Their arrival did not happen, but they received a message about the death of Lyonya and Kolya.
I note that from big family Grushins, only the elder sister of Valery Nelli is alive today. But fate prepared a difficult life for her: every day for decades she has been caring for her seriously ill husband.
Thus, I arrived from Nizhneudinsk with sad news.
From the very first day, August 29, 1967, when Yevgeny Nedosekov and Svetlana Iokhim gave telegrams to Fyodor Ivanovich, Sveta's parents and Tolya Golovin from Khadoma about the death of Valery, we were his friends, we wanted to tell about the ridiculous and random, not only for his parents, but and for all of us, the death of this exceptional human being. A lot of people gathered in the regional tourist club "Zhiguli": tourists who went and did not go hiking with him, and not tourists, but just friends who heard his songs, who could and could not play the guitar. They remembered different things, talked about a lot and quickly drafted a letter of appeal, which was addressed to the chairman of the Regional Council for Tourism and Excursions, Yuri Nikolaevich Guryev. We asked for permission to hold the Festival of Amateur Tourist Song in Memory of Valery Grushin as part of the next regional tourist rally " Gold autumn-68". The rally was supposed to take place on September 28-29, 1968. The regional council allowed us to do this.
One after another, tourist groups returned from summer trips, student construction teams from shock Komsomol construction sites. A group of KuAI tourists also returned from the expedition to install a high relief to Valery at the place of his death on the Uda River. There was very little time to organize the Festival. But no matter who we turned to, everywhere we met with extraordinary responsiveness, sympathy and help in holding the I Valerka Festival. The headquarters of the Festival was the Zhiguli club. The main load was taken by the leading tourists of the Polytechnic region Boris Keilman, Boris Skiba, Valery Afinogentov, as well as Valera's friends and classmates Anatoly Golovin and Evgeny Nedosekov. These people, in fact, owned the very idea of \u200b\u200bholding a song festival dedicated to the memory dead friend.
On ordinary notebook sheets in the tourist club "Zhiguli", at the factory checkpoints, in buildings educational institutions, in hostels and various youth associations of the city there were invitations to participate in the I Grushinsky Festival. The Organizing Committee was created for its organization and holding. Officially, it was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council for Tourism and Excursions Genrikh Vasilyevich Shur, in fact, all the work was carried out by students and graduates, tourists from the aviation and polytechnic institutes of the city and Valery's friends. To identify the winners of the Festival, a group of experts was formed or, in other words, the Jury. It was headed by Boris Keilman. We have written the script of the Festival and the action plan for its preparation. Groups and services were created that were responsible for the preparation and conduct of certain events. By the way, even at the Festival there were spontaneous services that were not provided for by the plan of events. These are the Information Bureau, the group of meeting guests and their accommodation at the Festival and others. This was due to the fact that 30 guests from Moscow, Leningrad, Kazan, Ryazan and Penza took part in the Festival. Mostly they were former students of KuAI and KPTI. I was mainly responsible for the work of the Information Bureau and for holding competitions under the Golden Autumn rally program.
On the night from Friday to Saturday, September 28, warm sunny weather suddenly changed to rain and cold. During competitions, especially in tourist equipment, the results were low. Few people fulfilled the norms of the third category for tourism. The weather conditions were very difficult throughout the festival. He did not stop during the competitive concert. It seemed that even the weather was mourning Valerka. And in the morning, on Sunday, Boris Keilman announced the names of the laureates, also in the pouring rain.
Above the Stone Chalice, the venue for the 1st Festival, the voice of Valery Grushin sounded more than once from a tape recorder. Surprisingly, even in such conditions, our guys, led by Sergei Soldatov, managed to voice the scene - a stone grotto on a mountainside. We left the Festival with the firm conviction that we would meet again and again. Grushinsky was immediately conceived not as a single gathering of memory, but as a traditional event for Kuibyshev tourists and immediately had serial number- in the form of a Roman numeral I.
My first friends in tourism have not been with me for a long time - Misha Kuznetsov, who died with his comrades in 1973 on a ski trip along the Kola Peninsula, and Valera Grushin.
And life seems to be made with them and ends with them. Now, when both the eyes see badly and the health problems, when you know everything, I think that I understand how this could have been avoided.
... And if in the second round!? No, nothing me useful life never taught. I wouldn’t change anything, and therefore I’m waiting for one of them to call and say: “Tomik, let’s wave somewhere tomorrow!” And the three of us will get on skis and right from our factory hostel, which is along Novo-Sadovaya Street, 287, through Gorely Khutor we will go to Mordovaya Polyana and back ... Or through the Administrative Town along the "Road of Love to Nature" we will go to Koptev Ovrag, we will roll, let's breathe fresh air, make a fire in the snow, drink hot tea, talk a lot and make sure that everything is great with us ... and see you next time ...

Those who wish to sing and play through sound amplifiers:

  • At our festival they sing and play a lot and in different places is a festival of amateur songwriting. The ringing of guitars, drumming, flutes, violins - everything sounds at our festival almost around the clock and from all sides. But “under electricity” on Grushinsky they sing and play only in specially designated places for this - on the festival stages.
  • There are not as many stages as there are at Grushinsky at any other festival in the world. We have 15 of them! For those who want to "show themselves" at many venues, there are special hours of the "Free Microphone". Approach the leaders of the stages - with a high degree probabilities will let you sing “at full power” into it. At any other place in the festival, you will be asked to turn off the sound speakers. Do not be offended - this is our order.

Important:

  • Do not worry that someone will not have enough space - the tent city will accommodate everyone. You need to contact the accommodation service, and the commandants will show you free places in the clearing.
  • The festival takes place in the forest area - follow the rules fire safety. For cooking, it is customary to use tiles, stoves. In the case of absolutely primitive life”, fireplaces must be equipped in a special way.
  • Do not forget about the elementary rules of personal safety in a tourist camp environment. Follow the rules of conduct on the water. Rely on the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Police, but don't make a mistake yourself. Phones of special services will be posted on the information boards of the festival.
  • Cellular communications of the "Big Three" traditionally work at the festival.
  • Water at the festival from several wells. Net. Good. But boiling will not be superfluous.
  • It is not necessary to bring food and all tourist equipment to the festival. The festival has special places for businesses Catering in the exhibition area. There you can also buy everything you need for tourist life, from tents to batteries for a flashlight.
  • The tent city of the festival will become your home for several days, and the houses will not be littered! Garbage bags will be distributed free of charge by the environmental service. Places for garbage in the clearing will be marked.
  • It is considered good manners at the festival to observe "quiet hours" from 03:00 at night to 07:00 in the morning. At the festival, of course, "no one sleeps", but the silence helps to take a break and gain strength for enjoyment the next day.

And very important:

  • This year marks exactly 50 years of the feat of Valery Grushin, whose name the festival bears. He died saving drowning children, showing courage and philanthropy.
  • These high moral principles- the basis and source of the unique atmosphere of our Grushinsky brotherhood. It is for her sake that tens of thousands of people “run away” from the hustle and bustle of cities to the festival. Therefore, maintaining an atmosphere of goodwill and mutual assistance at the festival is of particular importance.
  • Therefore, fellow participants!
  • Be polite.
  • Think beyond yourself.
  • Help each other.
  • Respect the work of the organizers of the festival and special services.
