Biography of the young Pharaoh

Pharaoh (Pharaoh) was born on January 30, 1996. His hometown- Moscow. Real name - Gleb Golubin. He lived in the Izmailovsky district and studied at the 1409 gymnasium. Since childhood, Gleb loved to kick the ball in the yard. The guy was predicted sports career. His father was the director of the Moscow football Dynamo. After his departure from the post, he continued to work in sports marketing. Young Gleb managed to play for Dynamo, and for CSKA, and for Lokomotiv.

He devoted almost the entire period of his youth to training and games. However, Golubin did not have any serious development as a footballer. No matter how hard the young man tried, his level remained average, and even his father's connections did not help push him forward on the ladder of a sports career. Gennady was not too pleased with the success of his son (which, however, was not), and Pharaoh himself already realized that he did not want to play football professionally. After that, he tried himself as a football referee, but then he finally decided to quit football.

Another thing is that he liked rap and rock music. Among the metal bands, he preferred the Germans Rammstein, who were gaining popularity at that time. Pharaoh even decided to learn German, and attended courses for a while. Also Golubin's idols were Nirvana, Marilyn Manson. Among rappers, he liked Snoop Dogg and Kid Cudi. Reign Clan became another team, which influenced the choice of style.

The formation of the Pharaoh as a musician

The turning point in the mind of Gleb Golubin was the visit to the concert of Chemodan Clan. It happened at the age of 15, then the young cloud rapper realized that he also wanted to rock the audience and please the audience. Then he records his first track in the style of Russian rap.

The song was called "Desert". After that, the Pharaoh leaves the country for a while and goes to the USA. There he decided to change his direction towards Western rap music. After returning home, he took up creativity. In addition, he entered Moscow State University. Gleb Golubin studied at the Faculty of Journalism.

Pharaoh's first band was Grindhouse. With her, he released several tracks, including "Cadillac", "Nothing has changed", "Phlora". However, the novice musician could not achieve much popularity with this group. The very first release in 2014 was the album Wadget. In 2015, a mixtape with the i61, Rage Mode, was released to critical acclaim. Then Pharaoh recorded music close in style to trillwave, trap.

Surging wave of popularity

It’s a completely different matter when Pharaoh released the clips of “Champagne Squirt” and “Black Siemens”, which went wildly viral on the net, and individual phrases and even sounds (the famous “skr-skr”) were torn apart into quotes. After these clips, the long-awaited popularity came to Pharaoh. Pharaoh releases Dolor mixtape with his new group Dead Dynasty.

In 2016, Pharaoh releases the album "PHOSPHOR". There was also a joint EP with Oleg LSP. The rapper has developed a certain direction in which he continues to work. It's a mix of cloud rap, trill, hip hop. However, Gleb Golubin does not stop there and continues to experiment. For example, after his release of "Pink Phloyd" (which was beaten by Shadow Playaz, Dexter Dukarus and Dead Dynasty), he recorded a guitar track for a new acoustic album. Pharaoh also decides to remember his preferences from his youth and record a completely rocker album.

PHARAOH & Boulevard Depo — 5 Minutes Ago

PHARAOH & Boulevard Depo - 5 Minutes Ago - the most revealing clip, which concentrates everything that Pharaoh's fans love for. There are drugs, cool cars, chicks, cops, and show-off, show-off, show-off. Pharaoh and Budvar Depot made a deliberate clip in the style of Russian cloud rappers. In pharaoh 5 minutes ago, several conditions are mixed - here is both deliberate steepness and teenage maximalism. Craving for self-destruction through drugs and alcohol, but subconscious fear for their future.

A patrol is chasing the heroes of the track, but after 5 minutes it is no longer possible to find them in the yards. The plot thread of all online music is that pharaoh 5 minutes ago did something that is inaccessible to a "mere mortal". For example, I bought myself a new expensive ring. However, the most offensive for the opponent is that the performer fucked his bitch, of course, pharaoh 5 minutes ago.

True, it is not entirely clear why he did this, if he saw her - and this is an abomination. However, it was again a deliberate action just to show his toughness in front of his opponent. The motive of the text is that this company is still going somewhere and going, doing different things along the way – they are spinning joints, pawing chicks and stuff like that.
Fans of listening to topics that literally parody the lifestyle of American cloud rappers were pleased with the pharaoh video 5 minutes ago. Relaxed pitch, swinging beats. The backing track does not contain anything superfluous - only a beat, bass, hi-hat, a couple of electronic voice effects. Such minimalism helps to focus on the text and capture the stoned flow.

The main phrase of pharaoh 5 minutes ago was his mother's instruction about bitches who lie without exception. Tough, but true phrase. Pharaoh quite often slips such biting, but informative phrases - he speaks directly, everything is as it really is.

The video clip of pharaoh 5 minutes ago is interesting to watch. The heroes are moving along the road in a Mercedes, something is constantly happening, the angles often change. This gives the clip dynamism and a sense of movement. Pharaoh does all these pathetic rap moves. Then the company ends up somewhere on the seashore, then they move to some apartment. Accordingly, the bitches are with them. Events take place during the day, then the situation changes dark time days. Heroes pharaoh 5 minutes ago hang out around the clock.

Pharaoh - Wild for example

Pharaoh - Wildly for example - a vivid example of thoughtful cloud rap. Initially, this music was conceived as a flight on the clouds. Something soft, thoughtful, airy. And indeed the clip takes away into the distance, everything is done in order to maximally involve fans of listening to music online. It is also impossible not to note the unusual Pharaoh video sequence - Wildly for example.

Clip Pharaoh - Wildly, for example, begins with shooting a forest from a quadrocopter. In general, the view of a park area with a track laid between trees evokes different associations. Matte light filters and color correction seem to create the atmosphere of some kind of youth horror film, where the main characters start their journey in the forest, away from people. In addition, the backing track with a characteristic melodic move (reminiscent of something like an electric viola) sets a cold autumn mood.

The retro car contrasts with the broken part of the road on the side of the road. The viewer can watch as the scene of the car ride changes with the main characters in a certain house, which is made in the old style. Pharaoh – Diko, for example, depicts members of the secular society in a mixture of modern clothes and festive hairstyles at balls of the 18th and 19th centuries. They go hunting with dogs and weapons. And it looks pretty creepy.

Moreover, the text Pharaoh - Diko, for example, mentions a “rare species”, poaching, a revolver in the throat (an allusion is obvious), “puddles of blood everywhere” and a dispute about the fact that someone will not leave this square. It looks like an expensive entertainment for the rich - man hunting. Although the meaning Pharaoh words– Wildly, for example, it also consists of wealth, self-worth and chicks. However, all this is veiled in such a poetic form, unusual for a traditional cloud, that listening to this minus is interesting and you can even try to look for hidden meanings.

There's something like a party going on in the building medieval style. The heroes hang out, eat decorously at the table and drink wine from bottles. Pharaoh - Wildly, for example, smokes from his company, hangs with his company in the forest and in the house. He also reminds that even in this club everyone will die. Is the elite hunting club mentioned or the usual entertainment establishment- the phrase has a double meaning.

Album Pharaoh – Pink Phloyd

Pharaoh - Pink Phloyd - summer release from the popular cloud rapper. The disc consists of fifteen tracks (14 originals plus one remix). The record is made in a manner familiar to the Pharaoh - songs about his wealth and fame are replaced by a kind of lyrics inherent in performers of this kind. Generally album Pharaoh– Pink Phloyd is somewhat calmer than previous releases. There are no sharp jumps on it from a lyrical song to a driving screaming one.

Of course, one cannot ignore the reference in the title to great group. The cult psychedelic band is spelled Pink Floyd, so the reference is only indirect. The cover shows starry sky- a hint of the space rock genre, as well as some psychedelic moments in the sound (for example, on the track "Louis Vuitton Kiss", recorded in collaboration with Boulevard Depo).

More about songs

The first track bears the same name "Pink Phloyd". To be honest, there is no opener - it is not remembered, the text is traditionally chewed. The theme is standard - I'm in Gucci, I'm fucking bitches. The only thing that saves is the squeak of Pharaoh himself in the chorus, which at least somehow distinguishes this work from a cloud of similar ones.

From the second track begins more interesting. "Problems" paints Pharaoh as a very tough gangster. He threatens not only to shoot his opponent and pull his skin, but even burn his district. The meaning of the song is rather contradictory - money brings "Problems".

A rather controversial statement, given that Pharaoh constantly talks about his wealth and success. But the fact that the bitches are “Problems” is a positive statement. Interestingly, the song was recorded with underground rappers The Chemodan, who are known for their existential lyrics and general depressiveness in the lyrics.

The single "Diko, for example" has become extremely popular for a long time. Although the theme is standard and hackneyed, it was presented with an unusual text. Many tried to decode the meaning of the track “Wildly, for example”, but exact value all lines are known only to the author himself.

The next song "School" will please target audience Pharaoh - actually schoolchildren. Every high school student who is passionate about the rapper will feel incredibly cool and close to the idol, walking with a briefcase and proudly carrying a column with a record of their favorite singer.

"Your Place" brings the listener back to the typical theme of a Pink Phloyd album. It was recorded with Acid Drop King and begins with his reading, suspiciously parodying the reading of the maestro himself. The main meaning of the whole song can be listened to online in one line - "Though you fill your ass with money, you can't buy charisma." No matter how a simple man in the street tries to be like his idol, but this will not work.

"Requiem For Ego" is an announced lyrical track in which Pharaoh even tries to escape into spatial semi-romantic reasoning. Words about the "third eye", Cerberus and other references to mythology create an enigmatic aura for the track.

However, the next "Lallipup" returns the listener to the usual lyrics about humiliating an opponent and fucking his bitch.

The “Louis Vuitton Kiss” mentioned above is something about love (although the text is almost incomprehensible). It continues this theme with "One Whole", which can also be listened to online. The words about “I’ll pick you up at night near the house” and “all your girlfriends are discussing my album” make such online music very romantic (for schoolgirls, that's for sure). "Melissa. My bitch" from the same series.

"A lot of things" and "Ask my friends" - one field of berries - if "A lot of things" is about the steepness of the singer, then "Ask my friends" is about fatigue from fame.

"Without Me" is the most melancholy and slowest track from the entire Pink Phloyd album. "Lone Star" also adds a touch of romance to the album's ending, as does "Pornstar".

Pharaoh - biography

PHARAOH (real name - Gleb Gennadyevich Golubin (Mironov). Born on January 30, 1996, in Moscow. Hip-hop and cloud rap artist (Former member of the Grindhouse group), who does not pay attention to any foundations and traditions of the genre, creates his own unique style and works tirelessly. He is the ideological inspirer and leader of the DEAD DYNASTY (Dead Dynasty) coalition.

PHARAOH's creativity is rap new school, imbued with the spirit of modern nihilism with rudeness.

For the maximum a short time(a little over a year), Pharaoh wrote two solo mixtapes (“Wajet” and “PHLORA”), released a mini-album “PAYWALL” with Boulevard Depo, and even managed to give several concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg. And the video for the song "Black Siemens" became the most popular in the artist's career and scored 2,000,000+ views on YouTube.

In July, 2015, a new album called "Dolor" was released.

In February 2016, the leader of "Dead Dynasty", the author of the hit "Black Siemens", the Moscow cloud rapper PHARAOH presents his new joint album with BOULEVARD DEPO called "Plaksheri". The tracklist included collaborative tracks with like-minded people - iSIXONE, preachernicky, BOOTYCHAAAIN.

April 2016 becomes a breakthrough month in Pharaoh after the release of the video clip for the song "Phosphorus".

In May 2016, a video clip for perhaps the shortest text track "Let's stay at home" is released. At the same time, there is interesting event, the Life edition takes an interview from the teachers of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University (where Pharaoh studies), in which he asks to analyze the lyrics of the rapper's songs. Three teachers expressed their opinion - Dr. philological sciences and two candidates. For example, Larisa Kasperova, member of the Union of Journalists, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language Stylistics, reflects on the texts of Pharaoh:

It is clear that these texts are a creative manifesto of one of the modern subcultural trends - "Dynasty shines"! If you are interested in any text, decide: you perceive or do not perceive this direction. And if you still want to understand the meaning, then follow a few steps of the researcher. First, it is necessary to clarify the meanings of all words, including slang, borrowed ones. Often it is better to ask the author or representatives of this direction about the meanings of some polysemantic words(for example, for Pharaoha - skr / sker).

As a rule, in such creativity there is always the idea of a subculture and it is stubbornly broadcast in all texts. This manifests itself both at the level of vocabulary (widespread slang (skunk), clothing names (in dead nike "ahs), attributes (green arrows) - subculture symbols, etc.) and active violation of grammar, and at the level of repetitive motives: a claim to originality , chosenness, closeness from strangers. All this is usually characteristic of the teenage and youthful underground. One could see an interesting topic of protest against the digital society: this is a herd on Instagram "e. But when you see that the PR of this artist is active on the Internet, you understand that these are just words. And of course, I can’t ignore the line I’m like the new Yesenin, *** girls / And I read poetry to them. Well, it is unlikely that Yesenin would have been remembered for a whole century if his stay on this earth was reduced to two simple actions. The fact of the matter is that Poets are constantly either in the process of waiting (languishing) for a new creative act, or in the process of creativity, the whole life passes in the background in their lives. JULY. 2016. PHARAOH. PHOSPHOR.

It's been a year since PHARAOH's last solo release. It was "DOLOR", which, together with the hit "Black Siemens", which bored even the performer himself, abruptly changed his career and popularity. There was a noticeable leap forward, which brought a huge number of new fans and haters. The problem is that these fans will love everything that comes out of Farah, and the "haters" with the same activity will continue to express their dislike no matter what. Will the author be able to release such a strong project so that no one has any questions, the number of doubts about his abilities has decreased, and the audience has impartially assessed the material? It could have happened with the highly anticipated "PHOSPHOR", but the artist decided to stay in his comfort zone.

PHOSPHOR is nothing new. Before us is rather a mixture of "Wadget" and "PHLORA": a gloomy atmosphere, speech about hatred for the world, a stern voice, sometimes turning into a completely opposite one with singing - everything is sustained in the same style. We have already heard this many times, but it was unlikely that any too much unexpected twists events. The author remained true to himself, returning to where he started, slightly modifying his work. Now the material sounds better, more thoughtful. Among the guests there were also exclusively members of "DEAD DYNASTY", the only exception is Scriptonite. It fits in perfectly with that kind of sound, as "House With Normal" is also a depressive record with similar features.

Cold$iemens is following the intended path. Perhaps this is the surest option: on the one hand, the artist does not limit himself to one thing, on the other hand, he returns to what the old fans so desired. Whatever one may say, "PHOSPHOR" is a quality work. The main thing is to introduce variety, otherwise it gets boring too quickly.

The leitmotif throughout the release is the theme of the "lone star". Despite the opinion of many people that fame ruined him, Gleb explains his position with one simple line from Ask My Friends: “What do you know about work, about tours, about fucking people that climb everywhere?” At such a stage of popularity, when they really don’t give you a pass, you have to not only “get your nerves”, but also resort to any means of distraction, which often results in disappointment in others and loneliness. That is why friendship and love are much more important than anything secondary.

“The path that is behind - it was not cool, it was creepy,” says the author in the penultimate composition, which is a kind of cleansing from everything that has accumulated over the years rapidly developing career. The negative reaction of the public who heard something atypical for themselves, attempts by colleagues in the workshop to steal style, the transition from the status of "one hit wonder" to an artist who consistently releases both hits and frank compositions, where he puts all his soul and emotions - the path of PHARAOH was bumpy, but he, shrouded in a lunar atmosphere and detachment from strangers, continues.

Childhood and youth I welcome guests and regular readers of the site website. So, Golubin Gleb, better known as pharaoh(under the pseudonym ColdSiemens makes instrumentals and produces tracks) - musician, rap artist, one of the members of the "Dead Dynasty" group, and in the past - the Russian movement "YungRussia". Born on January 30, 1996. The father of our hero Gennady is one of the leaders of a company that specializes in sports marketing, his mother is Elena Golubina. Gleb also has a younger brother Herman, who was born in 2003. He grew up in the area in the Eastern administrative district of the city of Moscow - Izmailovo. From the age of 6 Golubin Gleb played football, trained hard several times a week, dreaming of a professional career. In his free time from football, he did not differ from most teenagers - he did homework, played a console and listened to music. In an interview with Snob magazine, Gleb said that since childhood he has been a fan american hip hop by Kid Cudi. He also shared with Esquire that in his school years (he studied at Gymnasium No. 1409 from 2002 to 2013) he liked to listen to Snoop Dogg, there were also others in his playlist. At the age of 13, he finished his sports activities at the insistence of his parents, who claimed that football is not the most reliable career, they say you get injured and that's it.

Golubin's father, who in the past worked at the Dynamo football club, said that his son has no talent for this sport: "you see the field well, but there is no speed and sharpness." Therefore, our hero became an arbiter (referee) of children's teams, because he wanted to stay in football in any way. Later, after all, he decides to devote all his time to study.

Musical career

Together with sports, our hero was inspired by music, at the age of 16 he decides to record his first track under the pseudonym Leroy Kid, later renamed Castro The Silent.

At the same age, the young man travels to the United States, where he lives alone for about six months. In America, Gleb tried to understand American musical culture. Golubin admitted to Esquire magazine that he was inspired to make cloud rap by smoking with his girlfriend to the tracks foreign group"Raider Klan" when his girlfriend said "...the dude is reading and it feels like sounds from the underworld." The guy entered the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University, actively gaining momentum musically. At first he was one of the members of the group "Grindhouse". At the end of 2013, Gleb came to the studio to his comrades, where he recorded the track "Cadillac" for the Wadget mixtape.

Those who were present at the recording were very impressed with the work of the guy, although he did not shine with much enthusiasm. The mixtape is released in 2014. Video clips have been recorded for some singles.

But people especially noticed the song "Nothing Has Changed" and the video for it, which, in the manner of the video sequence with noise and interference from VHS cassettes, reminded many of the style of a rapper from California. Farah himself denies being inspired by this artist, saying that he only listened to him. early work when he had the alias "Th@ Kid".

Stills from Bones and Pharaoh clips

In the summer of 2014, the second mixtape "Phlora" is released. And in January 2015, fans were able to appreciate the joint, 6-track release of Gleb and a performer from Ufa called "Paywall". One of the most famous video clips of Pharaoh is "Black Siemens", released in February 2015 in support of a live performance.

Here Gleb read in winter locations against the background of the old Lincoln (it was this car, by the way, that Cosmos had in the TV series "Brigada", only it was later repainted white), and a repeating series of sounds "Skur-sker-sker-sker" constantly loomed in the song ".

Pharaoh - Black Siemens (2015)

As the performer himself admits to the Afisha Daily resource, sker is the sound that Bruce Lee made when making tricks. However, there is an interpretation on the Internet that this is how the wheels of a car sound when rubbing against asphalt (this sound is used by some foreign rappers in their tracks). Pharaoh himself does not like this song, and he was not happy that many associate it with her, so in April 2016 he limited access to the official video, which had several million views. On April 22, a video for common work Pharaoh with Boulevard Depot - "Champagne Squirt", which later became viral. Later, fans appreciated the composition "Ghost", made with.

In the summer of 2015, Pharaoh's third mixtape "Dolor" is released, which means "Pain" in Latin. Video works were filmed for the songs "Idol" and "Rustrell".

Pharaoh - Idol (2015)

In the fall, the artist will present the release collaboration "Rage Mode (Rare Action)" with (Isiksvan) - a colleague in the musical direction.

iSixOne & Pharaoh - 1-800-Siemensixone (2015)

On February 24, 2016, the premiere of the release "Plaksherry", recorded again with Boulevard Depo, took place. On April 21, a video for the track "Phosphorus" is released, where the performer experiments with the technique of screaming. And almost a month later, a very beautifully filmed music sees the light. video for the song "Let's Stay Home".

These songs were included in the album "Phosphor", which premiered on July 14. The guest verses in this solo album were noted by:, Techno.

Pharaoh - Phosphorus (2016)

In September, the film adaptation of the track "5 minutes ago" was released, which collected 30 million views in less than a year.

Personal life of Gleb Golubin

As for the personal life of the young artist, the guy clearly does not lack female attention. It is known that the musician for several years was in a relationship with a certain Natasha Melnikova. There is also information on the net that Gleb was in love affair with Katya Kishchuk, who since the spring of 2016 has become a member of the Serebro group. In 2017, Pharaoh had an affair with Alesya Kafelnikova, the daughter of perhaps the most prominent and famous tennis player in Russia. In the second half of 2017, the couple broke up.

pharaoh now

On May 28, 2017, Gleb's stylish video work for the track "Diko, For example" appeared on the Internet - the first single from the Pink Phloyd mixtape, released on July 8. The solo album included 15 songs, the recording was attended by: Boulevard Depo, Mnogoznaal, the Chemodan, 39, Acid Drop King and.

Pharaoh - Wildly, For example (2017)

At the end of the summer, Farah appeared in the video of the Leningrad group for the track "Ch.P.Kh" (stands for "Pure St. Petersburg Kh ** nya). In addition to Sergei Shnurov, journalist and TV presenter Alexander Nevzorov, rapper, and also football player Alexander Kerzhakov.

Leningrad - Ch.P.Kh (2017)

The screen version premiered in September. joint track with Jeembo called "Chainsaw". The music video, made in the style of old horror films, contains many references to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie.

Jeembo & Pharaoh - Chainsaw (2017)

On November 29, Gleb reminded himself of himself with the help of a film adaptation of a joint song with his friend called "Muffler". In the video, filmed in a field setting, the guys are presented in military equipment and with weapons instead of a microphone. The video, due to the huge amount of foul language and scenes of violence, received an age limit from YouTube, and therefore did not collect large views in the first days of publication.

Lil Morty & Pharaoh - Silencer (2017)

In the first half of April 2018, Gleb pleased the listeners with the mini-album "REDЯUM". The title of the release is a reference to Stanley Kubrick's 80's film The Shining, and given word is a mirrored version of "Murder", which is translated into Russian as a killer. The EP included 6 solo tracks, in which Pharaoh once again demonstrates vocal abilities, and also shows himself as a horror rapper. In one of the compositions, Golubin openly laughed at many of the genre's freshmen, in particular, he threw a stone into the garden of Ivan Dryomin, better known as, who very loudly declared himself in the second half of 2017 thanks to his mumble rap. In the same spring, several more events took place in the artist's biography, namely: the release of a joint track with American artist, as well as the premiere of two adaptations of last year's compositions ("One Whole" and "Lallipup") from the album "Pink Phloyd".

Pharaoh - One Whole (2018)

Pharaoh is a really interesting phenomenon in Russian music. Many media outlets characterize it as new school rap, imbued with the spirit of "modern nihilism with rudeness", which is pretty hard to argue with.
