How to draw a leg. How to draw human legs? Let's take a closer look at the structure and drawing technique

03.04.2019

Now we will draw the leg of an adult. Starting to draw with simple forms, but first you need to measure the proportions, because everyone's legs are different. Then lighten the lines with an eraser, and draw the shape of the leg. When you draw a tree or a flower, the lack of proportion is not a problem. But with drawing legs and feet, everything is different. If the proportions are wrong, the drawing will not look good despite good shading. Drawing from life is the most The best way understand anatomy. It is important to know how the individual parts of the body are connected to each other. When you know how to draw basic shapes and proportions, you can easily use it in drawing from photographs or teaching drawings.

Practice drawing legs from life whenever you can. If your friends and family run away at the sight of you and your art supplies, you can always draw your own legs and feet. After taking off your shoes, you will find two wonderful models for drawing. You can even use a mirror to draw the legs from different angles.

Draw the foot.

Remember that there is no right or wrong way to draw. For me, it's easier to first draw the outline, and then do the shading. But another way may be more convenient for you. Experiment with different ways drawing until you find the most convenient one for you. The light source is top right. With 2H and HB pencils, hatch the legs and feet, pay attention to the transitions of the shadows.

With a 2B and 4B pencil, cross hatch. Don't forget about the light source, the left side is darker than the right. With parallel strokes, create a shadow under the foot.

In this lesson, we will look at the structure Feet and the basic principles of its drawing.

First, let's look at the structure of the foot: the 7 bones of the tarsus, or ankles - labeled blue color, 5 bones of the metatarsus, or lifting - in purple, and 14 bones of the phalanges, or toes (3 in each small and 2 in the big toe) - in pink.

Only a small part of the foot can move.

Although the connection of the toes to the bones of the instep is far enough (1), the flesh covers the leg up to the line (2), and thus prevents movement.

The lateral longitudinal arch, in the middle of the foot, is most easily shown by a slight indentation from the heel to the instep.

On the inside, the medial longitudinal arch is larger than on the outside.

The upper part of the foot is located in the form of a transverse arch.

When a leg is seen from above, which stands on a plane, the lower part of the sole is not drawn, but only a bend is depicted.

This picture shows in blue which part touches the ground and which imprint is left.

Side view of the transverse arch:

1. High arch

2. Low arch ( flat feet)

The outer contour cannot be drawn in a straight line, with the exception of flat feet.

The line from heel to pinky is not drawn as a smooth curve.

1. ankle

Pay attention to the direction of the fingers:

Thumb: Parallel to the ground.

The remaining fingers: lowered to the ground.

It is not correct to draw fingers that lie completely on the ground.

The thumb does not bend down.

Step by step drawing feet

Drawing the sole of the foot is the easiest way as there is no

transition from foot to leg and no arch.

The main form is drawn in the form of an oblong egg, compressed on one side.

Drawing the leg in perspective under different angle, use simple flat shapes.

Here, anatomical accuracy is not required, as we outline a guideline for further work.

In the next step, we make a small adjustment to the shape, which will help to make the shape asymmetrical and thereby bring it closer to the natural shape of the foot. If you are confident in your abilities, you can start drawing the feet from this step.

Now, we give the foot volume. As you can see, for this you need to draw rounded and very flattened pyramids, the top of which is connected at the edges of the circle (the circle represents the ankle, the connection between the foot and the leg)

Dotted line is shown to help you see the outline of the volume, and the black outline is necessary for drawing.

At the end, add fingers pressed to each other. Remember that the toes from almost all corners overlap each other. If there are difficulties, below is described in more detail how to draw toes.

At the end, draw the lines of the arch and add the bones of the ankle and the Achilles tendon.

Alternatively, you can use a wedge for the base of the leg and then add the toes and cut out the curves.

Additional Information

Some details of the arms apply to the feet as well:

On the top of the foot, the toes look longer than on the bottom.

1. The beginning of the toenails is on the half of the upper joint. Nail Shape: The width is longer than the height.

2. Thumb size twice more than a second toe, so its first connection is within the foot and can barely move.

Let's look at the differences between internal and outside feet.

1. There is always a more or less pronounced lift on top of the foot.

2. Curved line.

3. The ankle is higher.

4. Line in the form of an arch.

5. Curved line.

6. Depending on the viewing angle, at least 2 fingers are drawn behind the thumb.

Now consider the differences between the raised inside and outside of the foot.

1. The line increases depending on how much the foot is raised.

2. Soft curved line.

3. Curved line.

4. Ledge coming from thumb.

Small toes are not drawn only if the line of sight is at the level of the foot.

Tendon lines are drawn in some cases: when the leg is tense, and also in male or elderly legs.

Here you already determine whether you need them or not.

Round fingers

The shape of the child's foot is like a soft swelling, without deep lines.

1. When viewing the forefoot, a circle is clearly drawn on each toe.

2. Also, with this viewing angle, a smooth horizontal line is drawn on the foot.

Please note that the line on the foot should not wrap.

When viewed from the front of the foot, all toes are at the same level and are drawn as drops of water. Draw five circles and then extend the lines to the foot.

It is also necessary to take into account:

1. It is necessary to draw a line behind the little finger similar to the "sixth finger".

2. The thumb is drawn in an oval shape than the other fingers.

1. When viewing the foot from the top, the line going to the little finger is drawn smoothly.

2. The thumb is usually separated from the second finger by a small gap.

If you draw raised toes, don't forget to draw the bottom of the foot.

Lift a little higher the inside line that divides the leg in two, rising towards the ankle.

In order to draw a foot standing on a toe, use the method of building simple shapes described above.

In this picture, the leg is relaxed. Although the fingers are slightly bent, they are not subjected to any real load.

In this figure, the load of weight is directed to the toes.

Let's see what happens:

1. Such bends on the finger occur only when you press on the surface.

2. Creases appear in the folds.

3. As for the big toe, it is almost not curved.

On the outer side of the foot, with strong compression, the first joints can completely disappear under the foot.

On the inside of the foot, the first joints can be completely hidden under the foot, with the exception of the big toe, which only flexes 90°.

splayed fingers

When the fingers are spread apart, they are located in different directions.

There is space between the fingers.

Note that the fingers remain in a curved shape pointing down, they cannot point up.

Transition from foot to leg

Transition from foot to leg (side view):

1. Roughly speaking, the front of the leg drops vertically into the foot.

2. The back of the leg drops with a slight slope, leaving the heel to protrude.

3. The transition between leg and foot is connected by a small line.

Transition from foot to leg (back view):

1. From the inside, the leg line descends vertically.

2. From the outside - with a slight slope.

3. Convex lines are drawn on both sides, indicating the ankles. The inner ankle bone is slightly higher than the outer one.

Transition from foot to leg (front view):

1. Ankles are drawn on both sides. The inner bone is slightly higher than the outer one.

2. The line coming from the little finger hides the ankle a little.

Remember that the tilt of the leg from the front and back is connected by a muscle. Therefore, the thinner the muscle, the straighter lines conversely, excess fat gives the impression of a sausage effect.

When drawing the leg from the side, remember that the thinnest part is just above the ankle.

The Achilles tendon runs from the heel to the foot.

When the leg is relaxed, a small angle is formed between the foot and the leg.

When the leg is extended, a straight line runs down the entire leg to the toes.

1. You can also draw the foot deviated a little further than the line.

2. With this position of the leg, skin folds are formed.

Male and female feet

Women's feet are not smaller versions of men's feet, they have a slightly different structure.

arch types

Normal. The arch is clearly visible.

Low (flat feet). No arch, the entire sole of the foot touches the ground.

High. Only a narrow band connects the heel, instep and arch of the foot.

Foot shapes

Wide Shape: Less distance between the widest part of the foot and the top of the foot.

Egyptian form.

The thumb is the longest.

Greek form.

The second toe is the longest.

Form Area.

Fingers on the same level.

Narrow or tapered shape: more distance between the widest part of the foot and its top.

How to draw hands

In this lesson, we'll look at drawing basics human hands .

Hands: the basics

Search for joints

Essentially, there is an invisible line that runs through the middle finger and through the center of the wrist. It must be perpendicular to horizontal line across the wrist.

At the intersection of the lines, a circle is drawn, around which the hand rotates freely.

Depending on the person's hand, the position of the joints on the fingers also varies. However, to imagine where the joints should be, you can draw two curved lines emerging from the nail of the thumb. If you add wrinkles in these places, the hands will look very natural.

moving parts

Now we will look at how the hand moves. Once you understand these basics, you will be able to draw realistic hands.

Each area of the hand will be marked with a color, which will correspond to text of the same color.

Inner side

This area moves towards itself, along with four fingers.

Outer side

This area is not moving - this is very important to remember.

This area moves with the thumb towards the inside of the palm.

This area moves with the little finger, however, the movement is small.

hand drawing

Let's draw the outline of the hand in the shape of an egg. The top of the egg will be the end of the middle finger. Next, draw the continuation of the hand, wrist and circle inside.

Now we outline where the thumb, palm and four fingers will be. For convenience, you can draw vertical line passing through the center of the palm.

Notice how the fingers are connected and how they move.

Make the outline smooth and erase the auxiliary lines.

Size and proportions

The size and shape of the hand differs from person to person: wide palm, narrow palm, long fingers, short fingers. This list can be continued - therefore, there are rules in proportions when drawing a hand.

Basically, the length of the hands is approximately equal to the length of the middle finger doubled.

Middle finger is usually the longest. Index and nameless are approximately equal, but sometimes ring finger longer. The little finger reaches the top joint of the ring finger.

hand bones

In order to understand how the muscles and skin move, consider the diagram of the bones of the hand.

Note that the bones of the index, middle, ring, and little fingers are mostly connected, which means they cannot move far apart. The thumb has much more wide circle movement.

Male and female hands

Between the male and female hand exists a big difference. The human hand looks more masculine if it is given a more angular shape, and more feminine if it is given a soft roundness.

Drawing a hand with nails looks more realistic.

On average, the nail is about half the length from the tip of the finger to the first joint.

Female nails are drawn more elongated and rounded, while male nails are more square and angular.

fist drawing

Let's draw a circle that will match the basic shape of the fist. Then add the lines of the thumb and wrist.

If you find it difficult to imagine where the thumb will be, just make a fist with your hand and take a closer look at the position.

The back and top of the hand does not move, so you just need to pay attention to how the fingers are connected. We mark the upper part of the hand and four fingers, as a rule, the same width.

As for the shadow, you can add it to create more realistic depth.

However, how detailed you will draw the hand is up to you. Find your style that works best for you!

Different variants fist drawing

This drawing shows a hand clenched into a fist from the outside. The index finger is much higher than all the others.

In this drawing, three fingers are pressed to the palm, the thumb is pushed back, and the index finger points to a point.

Please note that with the help of shadows and wrinkles, the index finger looks voluminous. The same applies to the fist, despite the fact that only some phalanges are drawn for three fingers, a volume effect is created.

This picture shows a hand clenched into a fist from the inside. The index finger is also higher than all the others.

Exist various ways placement of wrinkles and shadows in order to create the effect of fist volume.

Other Items

Movement from an open hand to clenching it into a fist.

If you still find it difficult to draw fingers, imagine them as cylindrical elements that connect with each other to form fingers.

However, sometimes it is necessary to slightly distort the fingers to give more depth.

For example, in the image, you see the index finger curved in an unnatural way, but it looks much more realistic than a direct appeal.

In this lesson, we will continue to look at the basics drawing human hands (their character).

Hands and face

The hand is usually about the same size as the face. Usually people with big body big hands.

When drawing expressions like this, you must pay attention not to the position of the hand, but to its size, otherwise the image may look very strange.

Pencil drawing of a girl, parts of her body.

The human body is unique in itself and very beautiful, especially the female body. And this is not surprising, so many professional artists trying to draw precisely female curves.

There are a huge number of methods for depicting the human body on paper. In our material, we will tell you how to draw a girl with a pencil, her arms and legs with the most simple ways and in different poses.

How to beautifully draw a human figure a girl in full-length clothes step by step with a pencil for beginners and children?

In the first lesson, we will try with you to depict a girl in clothes in full growth. To do the job without errors, you first need to familiarize yourself with human anatomy, learn basic skills. Paint female body not easy. many experienced artists Oddly enough, this does not always work.

Thanks to our lesson, you will learn what it consists of human body and try to draw it on paper yourself with an ordinary pencil. You must have all the necessary tools:

  • Thick paper - 1 pc.
  • A simple pencil - several pieces of different softness
  • Eraser

Drawing process:

  • Draw a simple sketch of a girl to begin with. It should not stand straight for you, but be natural and relaxed.
  • Show the head in the figure slightly tilted, right leg- left to the side so that the weight of the body is directed to the left leg.
  • Mark the curves of the joints with dots.
  • As for the spine, it should be flexible, so you should not draw it straight.
  • Then mark the feet of your model.
  • If you want to depict her in heels, then draw her on socks. Draw the head in the form of an oval, slightly pointed at the bottom.
  • Now, with the help of smooth lines, outline the silhouette of the model. Remember also about muscle mass under the skin.
  • Draw the muscles on the calves in the form of small ovals.
  • Place the largest muscles in the thigh area.
  • Draw one hand and hide the other behind the body.
  • Define rounded knees.
  • If you want the girl's figure to be more natural, sketch out her skeleton.
  • Outline the hair so that it falls freely over the left shoulder.
  • Carefully remove any extra strips. If you were able to build the girl's body correctly, then it will look proportional. Mark the chest on the girl's body.
  • Now dress up your beauty. Remember that you still need to "build" the face.
  • First, divide your face horizontally into two equal parts. The resulting line will be the tip of the nose.
  • Then divide the lower part into two equal parts again and designate the lower lip. Draw the full face.
  • At the next stage, you can put your model in any clothes, in our case it will be a summer T-shirt with a skirt and sandals. Draw thick strands of hair for the girl.
  • Now take care of the details and volumes. Plus, add decor and jewelry to your clothes. Focus on a dark t-shirt with a pattern. With the help of light hatching, mark the folds of the skirt, sketch the shadow areas more densely at the bottom and near the belt. With the help of sharp hard pencil draw a pattern. Then draw the decoration.

How to draw a girl's body in clothes with a pencil?

We will draw the next girl with you with dumbbells and in sports style. To draw it, perform the following manipulations:

  • Hold the skeleton of the model and her pose. At this stage, build correctly all the proportions of the body. To begin with, draw the head in the form of an oval, then depict the guiding lines, the face with the ears.
  • After that, draw with straight lines the rest of the girl's body (neck, spine, arms with legs, hands and feet). Now with ordinary figures show the joints.

  • Remove the sketched lines so that they are only slightly visible and you can proceed to the image of the face. First comes the drawing of the nose, then the eyes and eyebrows.

Draw the eyes and nose
  • Draw the contours of the face, the shape of the lips and eyes. At the end draw strands of hair. If you are not yet able to draw the hotel parts of the face, then practice on this in advance.

  • As soon as the face is ready, draw a T-shirt, hands with fingers, pants of the model, sports shoes and leggings. Draw shadows in the drawing.

How to draw the hands of a girl in clothes with a pencil?

Very often, many people, especially children, draw parts of a person, such as legs, in a simplified way. We want to teach you how to draw from an anatomical point of view. Take a simple pencil, eraser, landscape sheet and you can start learning.

  • Draw the wireframe lines of the human hands.
  • First, learn how to draw hands starting from the elbow and ending with the fingers, or rather their tips. Build a straight line. Mark a dot at the top. From it, draw 5 segments.
  • From these segments, take 5 more segments, which you connect at an angle. On this basis you will draw a brush.

hand in pencil
  • Along the main line, outline the line of the elbow, then the line of the forearm.
  • Draw the forearm from the elbow wide, then increase it further in width and draw a brush.
  • After that, draw the fingers: the little finger, then the ring finger, and so on.

  • And further. You need to depict skin irregularities, all depressions and bumps, as well as skin folds on the fingers and palm.
  • Erase the auxiliary lines, leaving only the outline of the hand. Color your hand. To do this, use skin tones. You can depict bright places here and darker ones that are in the shade.
  • Now let's draw the girl's hand separately. Build to start the frame lines.
  • Pick a dot on the paper. From this point, draw 3 lines on different sides.
  • Put a dot at the end of the 3rd line. From the point, draw the lines you need to connect.
  • Outline the palm itself, use smooth lines. You should get a palm bent down. Then draw the thumb.
  • Show its thick part, then the phalanges of the finger, plus the lines of those places where the thumb and forefinger join. Draw the index finger, the middle one. Outline the lines.

  • Draw the ring finger and little finger. In the picture, depict the folds on the skin, bumps, bulges and uneven palms.
  • Delete the auxiliary lines, leave only the most necessary. Color the palm, shade some places.

  • You can now draw a hand, but now you have to hide it in your pocket. In the picture it will look like this.

How to draw a girl's legs in clothes with a pencil?

So, now we will try to tell you in detail how to draw a person's legs correctly. In fact, they are drawn quite easily, but this is only if the drawing itself is simple. If you want to depict legs on a beautiful and more real picture then you have to put in some effort.

In order to learn how to draw legs correctly, you need to remember the main rule is that the legs are never straight. Think for yourself, they will not look natural, without any bends. The picture will turn out beautiful if you convey the shape of the legs, taking into account every detail.

Now let's move on to the first step:

  • Start drawing the legs from above, gradually going down. So it's easier and easier.
  • Now pay attention to the knees. They must be depicted on paper correctly. There is nothing complicated or special here. However, if you make at least one small mistake or draw something incorrectly, then the whole drawing will not be beautiful.

  • When you draw the legs, remember that the knees are considered the main connection point. If you draw this point incorrectly, spoil the whole picture.
  • Try to draw the legs carefully, because there are subtle but important details.
  • The next step is drawing muscle tissue. Think right away what muscles you want to draw a girl.
  • Then take special attention how to draw the curves of the legs.
  • Do everything here very carefully, while paying attention to every detail.
  • And at the very end, draw the girl's feet, with them each toe, heel.

  • Highlight every moment of the feet to make them look natural.

How easy is it to draw a person a girl in full-length clothes by cells?

Not everyone can draw beautiful pictures. And those who do not have the ability to draw at all can only dream about it. If you also can’t draw or you can’t do it with difficulty, then you can try to draw pictures by cells. Yes, exactly in the cells! Such drawings are practically in no way inferior to ordinary paintings drawn with a pencil. They look quite beautiful and natural.

By counting the required number of cells, and then painting them in one color or another, you will be able to depict on paper not only a portrait, but also a girl in full growth. You will only have to be patient and attentive.

If you want to draw large paintings, for this it is better to take graph paper. However, you can also use ordinary checkered sheets. Just glue them together to make one sheet. big size. You just have to find a special scheme and draw as the cells are indicated on it.

  • Draw on paper the contours of the female figure and outfit. Keep in mind, however, that correct proportion figures in full height must contain 8 heads.
  • Now mark the folds and flounces on the skirt. Then draw the upper part of the dress, the chic sleeves of the outfit, which should end with beautiful lanterns. Then draw a headdress on the girl's head - in this case we will have a hat, and do not forget about the strands of hair. Then draw outlines of the face.
  • Yes, it is quite difficult to depict an outfit of the 19th century in a picture. The dress, as a rule, is decorated with frills, pleats, laces. All these elements you must carefully guide, that is, draw. Therefore, you need to be patient.
  • In order to add volume to the outfit, work out each shadow well. Decide where exactly the light source will come from. Draw immediately the shadows that are obtained from the folds.
  • Under each fold and shuttlecock draw the darkest places. Add good light frills, every fold should be noticeable on them.
  • The dress has no buttons, but there is big number lace. Therefore, make their texture so that they are clearly visible.
  • Take a soft pencil. Point them to the main lines, give the picture contrast and expressiveness.
  • Well draw the face, headdress and hairstyle for your girlfriend.
  • Draw the hands that are holding the fan.

How to draw a man a girl in clothes in motion with a pencil?

The human body in motion is not an easy job. But we will help you avoid difficulties if you only follow our recommendations correctly.

  • Stock up on all the necessary supplies for drawing. Using a pencil and invisible lines outline the silhouette of a girl. Draw the head in the form of an oval, then draw the line of the ridge, the contours of the hips, legs and arms.
  • Mark the points where the joints will connect. Be sure to mark them so that you can see the places where the arms and legs are bent. Draw the head slightly raised, the chin slightly in front.
  • Your girlfriend should stand on her fingertips with her whole body stretched out. Draw the toe of the second leg so that the leg is pulled back.
  • Draw carefully the figure of the girl, take into account every little thing and all proportions, you can study the anatomical proportions of the human body in advance. Remember the main thing, the length of the human foot should be approximately equal to the middle of the thighs. Outline the knees and leg muscles. Draw a ribbon that twists as you move.
  • At this stage, delete the extra lines that you used in the construction. Draw the profile of the model and her hair.
  • Draw the girl's clothes. Draw shadows, highlight every detail so that they are clearly visible.

In this article, we will consider the main points that you need to pay attention to when drawing legs. The drawing is done in stages, let's try to make the legs beautiful and simple. Some people think that drawing people is very difficult, but in fact it is not. Of course, an image, for example, of a ballerina or a sleeping person, will require more detailed drawing, but with enough time and effort, even a novice artist can get a great result. Do not skip steps, following the algorithm, you will draw a real masterpiece without any extra work and alterations. So, let's proceed to the first stage of creation perfect image legs.

How to draw legs: 1st step

To make the legs look natural, let's start with the very basics. First of all, note that usually no one draws using only straight lines. This would be wrong both from the aesthetic and from the physiological side. Such a "clumsy" work is suitable only at the stage of the first sketches, a sketch. Looking closely, you can see that the elegance and beauty of the limbs are perfectly conveyed by the curves. It is with their help that in the process of drawing we will recreate real shape legs, adding details and curves to the base image.

Drawing legs: 2nd stage

At this stage, we create an image, drawing and shaping the legs, pointing with a simple pencil all lines from top to bottom until we get the necessary narrowing. If necessary, we correct the drawing with an eraser, redoing individual lines. Continue until the result pleases you.

How to draw a human body in full growth: 3rd stage

Let's try to "attach" our legs to the rest of the body. Sometimes aspiring artists perfect their drawing skills. separate parts body, but the portrait of a person as a whole is much more difficult for them. At this stage, we put together our "puzzle", try to repeat the transition, as shown in the figure. Don't worry if it doesn't work out very well at first. That's why we're learning to get the gist and understand the basics of how to draw legs. Take time to draw slowly and focus on the process, then work will go faster. If your drawing has already begun to look like an example, proceed to the next step.

Draw legs: 4th stage

Let's do more detailed drawing, this time knees. This task usually does not cause any special difficulties. Since the knees are the connecting part of the leg, they stand out most prominently in the figure. Therefore, we advise you to draw carefully, with thin lines, in order to correct it if something happens. As you can see, the eraser helps us at every stage of creating an image, allowing us to hone every line to perfection. Draw, erase and draw again. Do not be afraid of mistakes and spare no effort, you can see the options for drawing the knees for an example in the picture.

Learning to Draw: Stage 5

Legs are not only bones, but also muscles. Think about how they will stand out. It all depends on you, if you want - highlight this part of the legs, no - leave it more inconspicuous. If the goal is to draw a person completely, then the muscles can not be much detailed. If we draw only legs, it is desirable to make such an “accent”. In my opinion, the muscles are an integral part of the drawing, their detailed image looks more natural and realistic.

Final 6th stage

So, the drawing is almost ready. What else is left to do, how to draw legs correctly? Let's add a few more strokes, bring curves to "revive" the picture. Do not skip this step if you want the drawing to be harmonious and complete. Look at the details in the example, compare the details with your drawing, make any final adjustments. If you followed all the points of the article, you should get a beautiful and proportional image of the legs.

This article is intended for those who have been drawing recently or want to repeat the basic knowledge. visual arts. This is not the only correct, but a basic understanding of the construction of the composition and drawing plan, can be used as a basis for creating more complex drawings.

Beginners often draw feet flat like pancakes, or in the form of rectangular parallelepipeds “sticky” to the shins. In fact, the foot has much more complex shape, on which there are many protrusions and recesses. Remember that inside the foot are bones, not jelly or a piece of plywood.

The foot has six sides, each of which is different from the others, at the same time being mirror image corresponding side of the other leg: left and right, front and back, and upper and lower. Do not forget also that a healthy foot is not flat - there is an "arch" between the base of the toes and the heel.

If in your drawing the foot does not look like itself at all, you most likely made a mistake with the basic shape. No need to frenziedly edit the silhouette, it’s better to go back to the beginning and build everything more carefully

2. Fingers are not sausages

The toes do not lie in neat little rounds (or sausages), they touch and press against each other. The thumb looks slightly inside the foot, and the rest are slightly directed towards it. The largest distance is between the big and second (is there an index finger on the foot?) Fingers. Usually the fingers shorten from the thumb to the little finger, but it happens that a person has a second finger longer than the thumb - pay attention to this when drawing someone's specific feet.

When the fingers are bent, the entire arch of the foot is bent, since this one system- do not draw bent fingers as if they are attached to the foot on hinges and move separately from it.

3. Tricky ankles

The protruding ankle bones are at different heights, not exactly opposite each other. The inner (medial) ankle is higher than the outer (lateral). If you mix up and draw these bones in a different way, it will look like they are bones from the other leg. Please note that the height ratio does not change even when the leg is bent.

4. Bigfoot

Usually the length of the foot from heel to tip of the big toe is equal to the height of the skull (from the top of the head to the chin) and the length of the forearm (from the elbow to the wrist). Some people think that this is too much. If you don't believe me, you can check for yourself. The width of the foot is approximately equal to half the width of the skull or the width of four fingers on the hand (that is, all but the big one). An artist often wants to draw feet that are smaller than actual size, so always check this carefully.
