A teenager draws strange drawings. Daughter draws creepy pictures

Why do kids need evil drawings? © Shutterstock

As you know, children often draw not at all what we would like to see. Parents gasp and groan, and sometimes they are simply horrified by children's evil drawings. Monsters, guns, lasers, battles - what our cute kids don't draw.

Psychologists say: any weapon in a child's drawing, even an ordinary stick, is a sign of aggression. Painted wounds, scars, mutilations indicate that your child is in neurotic state that something is wrong mentally.

If a boy constantly draws male characters, strong and pumped up, which means that the cult of strength is very important for him. As a rule, this is typical for a teenager. Such a pen pattern small child talks about his doubts about his abilities.

Should I be afraid if the child constantly draws evil pictures?

To this question website psychologist and chief developer answers unique game Mozartika Polina Russavskaya.

Of course, when you see the evil, aggressive, sad drawings of a child, you should be alert and think.

But you need to be able to distinguish a topic that simply captures a child after watching cartoons, TV shows, computer games and reading books, and results in a picture of the battle of some superknights with a superweapon, from gravity to aggressive scenes. It is especially important to find out if the child enjoys such scenes.

We must try to distinguish what the drawing conveys - the desire to be involved in adventures and feel like a victorious hero, or the subconscious pleasure from the opportunity to destroy and manage life and death.

How to avoid evil children's drawings?

Those adults who want to see the sun and rainbow in their children's drawings should carefully and responsibly monitor all sources from which the child receives information about the world, both real and fantastic.

© Shutterstock The child processes all this information in their own way.

And one of the ways of this processing and at the same time the result of this processing are children's drawings. Each age has its own dominant moments.

If you really want a rainbow to appear in your baby’s drawings, you don’t need to specifically slip pictures from which you can draw a rainbow.

There is no need to show how to draw it or how to paint the house in the picture “under the rainbow”.

It is necessary - which is much more difficult - to try to fill the life of a child with such bright and positive impressions, so that he wants to draw a rainbow or paint a painted house "under the rainbow".

But remember, even the most cheerful child cannot always draw a rainbow and the sun. After all, at least sometimes he experiences something or solves some problems, and this is necessarily reflected in his drawings.

Behind the simple plots of children's drawings lies much more than it might seem to adults at first glance. We tried to analyze several of these drawings.

"BORDER GUARDS"

Judging by the happy faces and sideways hats of the border guards, they are demobilized. They run slowly, because, judging by the trail, they are chasing a one-legged intruder state border. The intruder threw a grenade at them, as seen from the bush flying in the sky (see upper right corner.). The fate of the violator is already predetermined by the artist: the border guards have tame angry bears on a leash.
The detail of the drawing, undisclosed by experts (a fragment of the image of the left hand of the right border guard) gives the picture a certain incompleteness, which makes the picture acquire a philosophical connotation.

"THREE PIGLETS"

Let's start with the fact that all the characters depicted by the artist live in the "yellow house". The windows are barred - if you look closely, you will see that one of the windows is blocked by a door. On the wall, next to the door, there were stains with blood and bullet holes. There is a sense of hopelessness in the picture. This is especially clearly expressed by the road that goes vertically upwards to the saint (upper right corner, note the halo). But note that the saint also stands near the same house, which emphasizes the cyclical nature of life, the impossibility of changing our lives.
On the left (in the bushes) - a ghostly shade of hope, which betrays the maturity of an accomplished artist.

"GIRL IN THE FOREST"

Let's start with the fact that the action takes place somewhere in the north (trees below human height). Immediately striking is how these girls look. It can be seen that they did not go into the forest for mushrooms, since they do not have baskets - but they are made up to the fullest. The forest is dirty, judging by the big girl's black tarpaulin boots.
As it appears, short lady has a broad outlook: after all, if you look at her eyes, it becomes clear that her viewing angle is all 360 degrees. In addition, she is also a brain center, judging by the size of her head. Big girl knows where to go, the little one resists her, with this the artist emphasizes the inconsistency inner peace person.
The raised branches of Christmas trees, past which the painted girls have already passed, give a special piquancy to the picture.

"Airplane"

The first thing that catches your eye is the Euros flying down. However, the fall of the European currency is not the worst. The lack of pilots in the cockpit is alarming. Perhaps they were scared away by the unusual design of the aircraft - with wings located above and below different shapes. Or the black color seemed ominous to them. Although, most likely, they did not like the lack of instruments in the cockpit. Empty and in huge portholes...
Perhaps people are sleeping, or maybe they simply disappeared, because judging by the color of the Sun, the action of the picture takes place several million years later. The sun will turn red and oval, and the Earth will be inhabited by giant tea-drinking toads (the leftmost toad in the picture).
This is how our artist sees the future, we wish him good luck.

"Grandfather MAZAY AND HARES"

In the distant future, after a global cataclysm, humanity will come to the idea of creating a single religion that would include elements of all world religions.
Obviously, the gods must be hares in order to have long ears and hear the prayers of all sinners. Three hares are a symbol of the trinity of God. But look at the faces. You will not see torment, torment, as in the canonical images of Jesus Christ, instead, satisfied with life, well-fed, smiling faces of hares sitting in Buddha poses catch your eye. Two Afro-hare - black brothers of the central hare, symbolize racial tolerance. After all, according to statistics in the future, there will be one Caucasoid for two black inhabitants of the planet.

"CAT HOUSE"

Keeping animals in apartments is inhumane, ridiculous, cruel. That's what the author tells us from the canvas. No matter what size the mansion has (in this case, a cowshed is drawn) - the cat fills it with itself and is there like in a cage. The artist bitingly and accurately expressed the cruelty of people towards animals with one symbol (see. a little boy in a yellow cap with a club instead of a hand beats an unfortunate animal.)

The ghostly dream of salvation is the only aspiration of the cat. However, if the house sucks like a quagmire, then, having escaped from the circle of household chores, it falls into the loop (see the fragment between the house and the cat: the loop is on fire).
The fire of passion devours brave heart animal (the rightmost fragment of the fire is a heart, a knight is depicted right above the roof of the house). The artist empathized with the plot so much that leaving his corporate logo on the picture (next to the word "FIRE") crossed it out in a rage.
The picture can be attributed to the cubist direction in painting. We wish the author continued success.

"GOLDEN SHOE"

We will not be ironic about the appearance of the two characters depicted in the picture. The lack of a nose and neck in a girl, the wrong proportions - all this is not something you should pay attention to. After all, the main thing in people is not appearance, but a rich inner world!
However, the artist wanted to show something else. Note that the guy consists of wires on which pieces of matter are stretched. The girl is also made of papier-mâché.
What did the artist mean by this? Love is an illusion puppet show! That's what love is!
The guy on his knees asks his beloved hand and heart. Eyes narrowed in sweet languor, lips curled in desire for a kiss. He doesn't need love...
The girl, on the contrary, does not care, she is ironically tuned (a wry grin), moreover, a cold calculation can be seen from her squinted right eye. She probably even beat the guy (see red spot under the eye).
No matter what the “lovers” say, they will never hear each other, because they simply do not have ears! (see picture).
But still they continue this game.
Game of LOVE!

"FRIENDSHIP"

"DRUGS"

It is immediately clear that it is hard for a guy to live without drugs. The left eye has disappeared, the lips just disappeared ... although why does he need lips? The guy is an adherent of extreme sports, pricks himself in the forehead. The idiom "sprinkle ashes on your head" is fully implemented in this picture.
Whatever everyone says about drug addicts, this one is very rich, at least, judging by the number of gold teeth, he has enough for drugs.
The world presented to us in this picture is a field for playing preference, which symbolizes excitement.
Over the years of his life, this character has lost everything: ears, lips ... torso. But, in fact, the artist wanted to show his internal state: "separation of the head".
So, summary: "Live fast, die young!". And if you turn the picture upside down, it's easy to see that this is a Valentine card with a heart in the very center.

"SPARROW"

The picture shows the victim of a genetic experiment of scientists: a sausage bird. So that she does not roll away, she was implanted with two tripods, standing on which she is exposed to the harsh radiation of an X-ray lamp, the rays of which penetrate the poor animal through and through. Probably, according to the author's idea, it is this radiation that is the reason for the growth of sausage in captivity. For convenience, the bird is designed in such a way that an adult is hung by the tail immediately after being brought to the store.
Also, this picture is biting political satire: we see the end of the beak of the second head of the bird, turned to the west. And indeed - the double-headed eagle, the symbol of our state, is nothing more than a premature sausage bird.

"MY FAMILY"

Judging by the drawing, all members of this family are women, from which it can be concluded that this is an Amazon family. Firstly, they all paint their lips since childhood, and secondly, half of them wear male names. Apparently, with this picture, the artist is fighting against the regimes of countries in which "such" families are prohibited, despite the fact that, judging by the descriptions, these people are the color of the nation. After all, a woman who works as an electronics engineer deserves more than respect.

The whole horror of the situation is expressed in the fact that the whole family is already standing at the wall with their hands behind their backs. Moreover, someone has already placed flowers at their feet. Sister Seryozha can count up to 100 - apparently, it is at this number that shots will ring out. But the brave Amazons meet death with a smile. They know that others will take their place, that their noble cause will continue, and in the future the entire planet will be inhabited by women.

"APPLE-GIRL"

It may seem that this is the hero of a horror movie. Do not be afraid, this is an ordinary apple girl. As you know, there are two types of women - Elena the Beautiful and Vasilisa the Wise. It is immediately clear that you cannot call this girl Elena. But she has a rich inner world!
The apple represents two things: Newton's mind and Freud's repressed desires (forbidden fruit). Indeed, with such an appearance, this girl can only become a great scientist.
But this is only half the trouble. As you know, an apple does not fall far from an apple tree - on the right is the mother of a girl who does not want to let her brilliant girl go and therefore keeps her on a leash, which symbolizes the connection of generations and strong family bonds in such families.

"IN THE ANIMAL WORLD"

This, of course, is hard to believe - but the picture shows a turtle, and, judging by the legs and sports hairstyle, it is a running one.
Have you ever seen the sign: "Rest for animals"? No? And do you know why? Yes, because you have never seen reading and talking animals. In fact, it's all an allegory! People are animals. Here is what the artist tells us from the canvas.
It becomes clear that the turtle is just a mask. This man only pretends to be a tortoise, although even a blind man can see that he is a wolf, which he considers himself to be. However, the artist sharply emphasized brown, how main character is in fact.

The background of the picture is also wonderfully thought out - a closet with a sign "Rest for animals" is really the same "closet" in which people can take off their animal masks and be themselves. Apparently, it was for this that the turtle man came to this hospital, and for him all is not lost.
This fact is also evidenced by a voice from the side, which most likely is inner voice turtles. "Who am I? Why am I? Why me?" - these questions are asked by all people and in search of an answer they get to the most hidden corners of their consciousness.
Alas, such questions distinguish us from animals, but not from animals.

"THE SCARLET FLOWER"

How many do not write on the signs "Do not fit - it will kill!" - there will always be fools who will fit in and kill them. Apparently, this time the enamored hare turned out to be the fool. He climbed the mountain for edelweiss - the flower of all lovers, to eat it.
But did the hare die? After all, it is immediately clear that the hare is a theatergoer. Firstly, he is wearing a bow tie, and secondly, he portrays his death in a very theatrical way. Stanislavsky, looking at this picture, would definitely have exclaimed “I believe!”.
And the flower believed! The whole tragedy of the situation lies in the fact that the hare is pretending, and the gullible flower reaches out to help. That's what the artist wanted to show.
After all, behind all this props lies a marriage. Defenseless male flowers can frighten with their lightning - but they will never harm those they love; and women, although they love flowers, are real hares, theatrical and black in their deceit.

Repost, taken from here http://my.tele2.ee/plast/kids_pictures/detpics.htm

Many psychologists argue that children's drawings are not just an opportunity to express Creative skills but also reveal the state of mind.

Most accurately, the internal state of the crumbs is conveyed by drawings at the age of 3.5 to 5 years.

How to decipher what children's drawings mean? How can this form of diagnosis be used?

To begin with, invite the kid to draw a family, without giving him any instructions on how, whom and in what sequence to draw.

Do not interfere in the process in any way, just observe and draw conclusions.

Psychologists say that if a child is the first to draw himself, then this good sign. It means that in small world the baby is the central figure.

It’s bad if the child doesn’t draw anyone else next to him. This indicates loneliness. The baby does not feel like a full member of the family. He misses your attention.

After himself or first, the child usually draws the one whom he considers the main one in the family. It could be a father, a mother. Next, sisters, brothers, grandparents, aunts and uncles are depicted ... Usually domestic animals complete the drawing.

If a child draws family members in a different sequence, it means that he evaluates their role differently. The one who appears earlier in the picture has more authority than the one who appears later. Or, it may still be an option that this person simply devotes more time to the baby.

If relatives pay little attention to a child, then he will be the first to draw his four-legged friend.

An important signal should be the absence of any of the family members in the figure. This means that the baby is simply trying to force out of his life a person who he does not like, causes fear, whose behavior he does not understand or does not approve of.

What do children's drawings mean when looking at the size of the images?

All children want to grow up and become adults as soon as possible. Therefore, they very often draw themselves either the same size as other people, or a little less. Well, if a child draws himself small, it means that he is not independent enough, adults suppress his initiative and individuality.

It is good when family members hold hands in the picture. This means that the baby considers your family friendly, he feels the support of each of the members. It's not very good if everyone is standing apart from each other. This may indicate that your family lacks support and understanding.

If the kid trusts his parents, he draws himself close to them. The same applies to other members of the family. Well, if everyone is drawn together, and one is aside, this means that the child, or one of the family members, has a conflict with him.

Strikethroughs, pressures and strokes in the figure indicate anxiety and restlessness. You need to pay special attention to the elements that are highlighted in this way.

A sign of the psychological comfort of the baby can be painted flowers, air balloons, butterflies, sun, rainbow.

What do the colors in the picture say?

If the red color predominates, this means that the child is active and energetic, if orange - hyperactive. Blue yellow, green colors indicate that the baby is calm and balanced. Purple, pastel, light pink color indicate that the baby is shy and timid. The predominance of gray and black shades should not be ignored. This is a bad sign. It means that the baby is lonely, sad, scared, bad. We urgently need to find and eliminate the causes of this condition.

Separately, I want to dwell on the evil drawings.

Sometimes parents just gasp and groan when they see various monsters and monsters at their children's work. And what to say about various types weapons?

Some psychologists argue that any weapon in a baby's drawing is a sign of aggression. Well, scars, wounds, injuries and blood indicate that something is wrong mentally in the crumbs.

If a boy often draws strong and courageous characters, then the cult of strength is very important for him. And it also indicates that he doubts his own abilities.

Should parents be worried if their child draws evil drawings?

Of course, sad, aggressive, angry drawings should be alarming. But it may be that the child just watched a cartoon, a movie or played a game before the drawing process, which resulted in a certain plot. Then it is important to find out how the child reacts to such a scene, does he enjoy it?

We must learn to distinguish whether the drawing conveys the desire to be a participant in some kind of adventure and feel like a hero, or brings pleasure from the opportunity to destroy something and harm something.

If adults want to see rainbows, the sun, blue skies and flowers in children's drawings, then they should follow the sources from which the baby receives information and explores the world. After all, he perceives and processes it in his own way. And one of the ways to express the results of obtaining information and the state of its processing is a children's drawing.

Try to fill the child's life with positive, bright, bright impressions, then they will depict only beautiful moments.

Daughters will soon be 10. I have always been a somewhat neurotic child: a screaming baby, a hysterical 2-3-year-old, from 1 year to 4-5 years there were often seizures of "cessation of breathing" and short-term loss of consciousness. We visited a child psychologist and very successfully corrected her behavior. She suffers from primary enuresis, but has gradually achieved significant success: for a year and a half, her pants have been dry all day (but occasionally, when she is very worried, she “leaks” a little). She has been sleeping without diapers for half a year already - at first she woke up wet 2-3 times a week, and now no more than 1 time.

In general, my husband and I are very pleased with her development and success. (Not counting the fact that we just love her very much :-))

Eat younger brother(5.5 years old), she has the best and “real” relationship with him: sometimes they swear and can even hit each other (rarely), but in relations with the outside world they instantly unite, even often stick together in conflicts with their parents.

On this moment we are upset by the unpleasant theatricality, some kind of unnaturalness of her behavior. The impression is as if the daughter is trying to play a certain role, usually unnaturally joyfully excited. (Moreover, the "actress" is false and replays terribly!). Such behavior often appears in communication with girlfriends, but at home, in the family circle, it often “scratches” us.

And these naked, bound women, whom she has been drawing for several years, are completely incomprehensible to us! Either they appear in large quantities, or they completely disappear from her work for several weeks or months. In addition to ropes, sometimes there are gags, some instruments of torture, and evil-looking tormentors (men). Sometimes I find dolls tied hand and foot. When trying (carefully and unobtrusively) to find out - what is drawn here - a few years ago she muttered something like: "The villain caught the princess and forced her to marry him", and recently my (very cautious) interest embarrassed her, she removed the sheets from the table with the words: "This is mine, mine, don't look ..."

Here it should be noted that my daughter draws well and drawing has always been a very effective (and beloved) "therapy" for her.

She knows perfectly well how and where children are born from the age of 4, when they were preparing for the birth of a brother, this did not cause any unpleasant reactions. A year ago, her friend's older sister began menstruating, the girls' mother talked to me and we agreed to enlighten our 9-year-olds on this topic. It also went well here: there were questions, fears, disgust, but everything was discussed, everything was talked about. Around the same time, I saw her drawing of a couple making love, with emphasis on the genitals. This drawing did not bother me, everything was clear and natural there: both hugged and no one tormented anyone. I bought her a very nice children's book with subtle and sexual explanations, she showed little interest (not very fond of reading at all :-(). I managed to talk to her about this when she asked "What is rape?". After our conversation, the daughter still read that book.

But scary drawings have not gone anywhere - sometimes there are more of them, sometimes less, but there are. What to think about? These drawings are very embarrassing and frightening to me: there is a lot of some kind of sadistic eroticism, and over the years there has become more eroticism and torture has become more sophisticated. True, the frequency of occurrence of such patterns is gradually decreasing.

What can we do about it and do we need to do something? Is it really possible to go back to a six-month course of visits to a psychologist?

You don't have to lie! For German women, Hitler pushed the concept of three K - "kinder, kuhe, kirche", which translates as "Children, kitchen, church" to the people.

Catholic clergy and Nazi officials Joseph Goebbels (right) and Wilhelm Frick (left).

According to the testimony of former US Army intelligence officer William Gowan in a federal court in San Francisco, Vatican officials harbored Nazi war criminals and collaborators from arrest and trial. They also helped hide and legalize property taken from Nazi victims, including Jews. This was how Klaus Barbie (the butcher of Lyon), Adolf Eichmann, Dr. Mengele and Franz Stengel, head of the Treblinka death camp, were helped.

In Italy, with the advent of local fascism to power Catholic Church received even more power and influence than before (the Lateran Treaty, concluded in February 1929). Along with significant state subsidies, she negotiated for herself far-reaching rights of intervention and control in the field of education and family life. Since 1929, insulting the Pope has become a criminal offense.
In a fascist state, religion is regarded as one of the deepest manifestations of the spirit, therefore it is not only revered, but also protected and patronized. Benito Mussolini. Doctrine of fascism. 1932
The close connection between the fascist regime and the church was characteristic of Romania, Hungary and Spain. The Valley of the Fallen monument, built by order of Generalissimo Franco, combines both religious and fascist symbols. In any case, religious thought and religious life in a fascist state is strictly censored and controlled state system due to its totalitarian nature.

By the way, now in Russia, too, an article has been introduced for insulting the feelings of believers.

Orthodoxy was considered by the National Socialists as an important tool in the fight against their political opponents and to increase their authority in countries with a predominantly Orthodox faith (USSR, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece). In turn, the militant anti-Bolshevism of the Nazis was positively perceived by a number of Orthodox hierarchs of the White emigre milieu.
During the 1920s and 1930s, the National Socialists undertook a number of measures to bring them closer to Orthodoxy in Germany. The Reich Ministry of Religious Cults supported the German Diocese of the Russian Church Abroad (ROCOR), which was in opposition to the Moscow Patriarchate, and granted it the state status of a corporation of public law, which was available only to Lutherans and Catholics. In 1938, the Nazis financed the construction of a new cathedral Resurrection of Christ ROCOR on Hohenzollerndamm, as well as overhaul 19 Orthodox churches. At the same time, the churches of another Russian Orthodox jurisdiction, the Western European Exarchate of Russian Parishes, were confiscated and transferred to ROCOR.
ROCOR First Hierarch Metropolitan Anastassy (Gribanovsky) thank you letter wrote to Minister Hans Kerl: At a time when the Orthodox Church in our Motherland is being subjected to unprecedented persecution, we are particularly touched by the attention of the German government and yours personally, awakens in us a feeling of deep gratitude to the German people and its glorious leader Adolf Hitler and encourages us to heartfelt prayer for his and the German people's health, well-being and about Divine Help in all their affairs. However, in the relations of the Nazis with Orthodox Church there were frictions: for example, in 1938, the Germans demanded that the ROCOR Synod recall Archbishop Tikhon (Lyashchenko) of Berlin on charges of sympathy for the Jews.
After the outbreak of World War II and the occupation of Poland, the German authorities transferred to the Polish Orthodox Church the church property that had previously been taken away by the Polish authorities, and also supported the opening of an Orthodox theological institute in Breslau.

The ROCOR leadership wanted to use the outbreak of war with the USSR to revive church life in Russia. Beginning on June 26, 1941, Metropolitan Anastassy repeatedly turned to Berlin with proposals to create his own church administration in the occupied territory of the USSR, but did not find support from the German leadership due to the opposition of the Ministry of Eastern Territories, headed by Alfred Rosenberg. The German invasion of the USSR was welcomed by the ROCOR hierarch of Paris, Metropolitan Seraphim (Lukyanov): May the Almighty bless the great Leader of the German people, who raised his sword against the enemies of God himself. May the Masonic star, sickle and hammer disappear from the face of the earth.

The position of the German authorities in the occupied territories of the USSR combined mutually exclusive approaches. On the one hand, Reich Minister Alfred Rosenberg sought to revive religious groups, including Orthodoxy, in the territories controlled by Germany, by creating autonomous and unaccountable church structures, excluding the possibility of a single powerful church organization. Hitler expressed his opinion as follows:
We must avoid having one church meet the religious needs of large areas, and every village must be turned into an independent sect. If some want to practice black magic, we must do nothing to prevent them. our wide open policy should be to encourage any and every form of disunity and split
On the other hand, the Nazi leadership and generals of the Wehrmacht in the occupied territories preferred the existence of a single Orthodox Church, at least in each of the regions (the Baltic states, Ukraine). Moreover, at a meeting in the Reichsministry of the Eastern Lands on June 20, 1942, it was decided that it would be beneficial for the occupying authorities to unite all Orthodox around the Moscow Exarch with the aim of evicting them after the war to the Reichskommissariat Moscow.
In the occupied territories, on the initiative of the population and often with the support of the German command, thousands of parish and monastic communities returned to church services, Soviet time gone underground. Formerly closed temples for the first time long years were restored and crowded with worshipers. In the occupied territories at one time there were more active temples than in the rest Soviet Russia which contributed greatly to the change in attitude Soviet power to the Russian Church, which turned from being persecuted by the middle of the war into a reborn one.
At the same time, the expansion of the territory of the Russian Orthodox Church and the strengthening of the power of Metropolitan Sergius (Voskresensky) took place in the Baltic states. Attempts by the hierarchs of Latvia and Estonia to create autonomous churches were thwarted by the Nazi leadership. The occupying authorities allowed Metropolitan Sergius to maintain the canonical connection with the Patriarchate, which consisted in raising the name of the Locum Tenens at divine services.
In Belarus, the German authorities have staked on the creation of a national Belarusian autocephalous church, relying here on Belarusian nationalists who came here from the Czech Republic and Poland. Despite this, in March 1942, Archbishop Panteleimon (Rozhnovsky) was elected Metropolitan of Minsk and Belarus, who was able to maintain the canonical subordination of most of the Belarusian Orthodox to Moscow. After the liberation of Belarus Soviet troops Belarusian bishops, headed by Panteleimon, left for Germany, where they joined ROCOR.
As for Ukraine, here the National Socialists maneuvered on the confrontation of several Orthodox churches, alternately supporting them. During the German occupation, 5,400 churches and 36 monasteries were opened on the territory of Ukraine, pastoral courses were organized.
The Orthodox Church led vigorous activity in the occupied territories of the RSFSR. Only in the Smolensk region, 60 churches were opened, in Bryansk and Belgorod at least 300, Kursk 332, Oryol 108, Voronezh 116. The Pskov mission was very active.
In just three years of occupation, more than 40% of the pre-revolutionary number of churches was restored. IN Soviet literature about 10,000 temples. In addition, about 60 monasteries were recreated 45 in Ukraine, 6 in Belarus and 8-9 in the RSFSR.
Pskov Orthodox Mission

Pskov-Rizhskaya newspaper For the Motherland with the title of the article: On behalf of the Russian Orthodox Church: Lord, send down to Adolf Hitler the strength for the final victory. In the photo Sergius (Voskresensky).

The Pskov Orthodox Mission operated during the Great Patriotic War in the occupied German troops territories of the North-Western dioceses of Russia: St. Petersburg, Pskov and Novgorod, as well as the Baltic states. The initiator of the creation of the Mission was the Metropolitan of Vilna and Lithuania Sergius (Voskresensky). Under the conditions of the German occupation, he managed to maintain the canonical unity of the Baltic dioceses with the Russian Orthodox Church. The basis of the Pskov mission was made up of Russian priests from the Riga and Narva eparchies. On August 18, 1941, the first 14 missionary priests arrived in this city, among whom were both graduates of the Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris and leaders of the Russian Christian Union. In the newly opened churches, Metropolitan Alexy (Simansky) of Leningrad, in whose diocese the missionaries served, was commemorated during divine services, emphasizing that the mission was part of the Russian Church.
A significant church event of that time was the transfer of the Tikhvin Icon to the Church. Mother of God. The icon was rescued from a burning church in Tikhvin with the participation of German soldiers and handed over to the Church by the Germans.
