Drawing in wax and watercolor. Drawing technique

All children love to draw and create their own masterpieces. Today we will tell you aboutmagical, unusual, unconventional wax and watercolor painting on paper and we assure you that your child will be infinitely happy that he will succeed and he will certainly want to show off his drawing.

Today we introduce you to unusual techniquepainting with a candle. This drawing technique usually delights children, captivating with the final effect of the appearance of the image on a sheet of paper. Drawing in this technique gives the child confidence in working with paint, develops imagination, fine motor skills which is very important for preschool and younger children school age. It is even in some way a game that does not tire the kids, but rather gives them positive emotions.

First you need to draw a drawing on a white sheet of paper with a candle. We take a piece of a candle and create the outline of the future drawing. By the way, you can draw not only with a candle, but also wax pencils, the effect will be the same. Since children do not know about the property of wax to repel water, for them this way of drawing will seem magical and incredible.

To make it easier to create a sketch, before moving on to the second step of the work - painting with watercolors, you can invite your child to draw a picture first with a simple pencil, and only then circle it around the contour with a candle. And you can simplify the task even more - take a regular coloring book and circle it around the contour with a piece of wax or a candle.

We invite you to look at our rubric and choose the picture that your baby will like best.

This fish is drawn with wax colored pencil.

Next, we will paint with watercolors. Better to use more dark colors watercolors: blue, black, purple, so the effect will be more noticeable. We take more paints, but less water. We take a wide brush, dip it in watercolor or gouache and cover a sheet of paper with large strokes. TOThe paint will slide off the created contour, since the paraffin from which the candle is made is oily. The drawing will appear as if by magic!

After the drawing has dried, you can additionally draw some elements using felt-tip pens or markers.

For your information: now many children are distinguished by a lack of self-confidence, little developed imagination, lack of independence. The child is afraid to do something and create on his own, it seems to him that he will not succeed. But the work being done in kindergarten, performed in this drawing technique, showed a very positive trend in the psychological mood of the kids.

Here's what the expert says: “I enjoyed watching how the guys in our classes looked at their drawings with bated breath, and when something appeared on the sheet, there was an explosion of emotions in the group from what they saw.”

Let your child feel positive emotions both from the process itself and from the result of waxing!

A snowball outside the window is an excellent occasion to take a brush in your hands and depict all the charm of winter-winter. Show the kids several ways to draw snowdrifts, "crystal" trees, "horned" snowflakes, fluffy animals, and let the winter "painting" bring the joy of creativity and decorate your home.

Music to create masterpieces

So, let's turn on some nice background music and… draw winter with the kids!

Draw "snow"

mtdata.ru

You can imitate snow in the picture in different ways.

Option number 1. Draw with PVA glue and semolina. Squeeze out the right amount of glue directly from the tube, if necessary, you can smear it with a brush (if you plan to cover large surfaces). Sprinkle the image with semolina. After drying, shake off the excess cereal.

Option number 2. Draw with salt and flour. Mix 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup of salt and the same amount of flour. We stir the “snow” well and draw winter!

www.bebinka.ru

Option number 3. Draw with toothpaste. Toothpaste perfectly fulfills the role of "snow" in the drawings. It can be tinted with watercolor or gouache if you want to get a color image.

Drawings with white paste on dark paper look beautiful. And they SMELL delicious!

The most popular toothpaste won, perhaps, for the fact that it is easily washed off, so you can draw with paste on glass. Feel free to take tubes in your hands and let's go decorate mirrors, windows and other glass surfaces in the house!

polonsil.ru

Option number 4. Draw with shaving foam. If you mix PVA glue with shaving foam (in equal proportions), you get an excellent "snow" paint.

www.kokokokids.ru

Option number 5. Painting with salt. If you pour salt on a drawing circled with PVA glue, you get a sparkling snowball.

Drawing on crumpled paper

An unusual effect will be obtained if you draw on previously crumpled paper. The paint will remain in creases and form something like crackle.

Drawing with stencils

img4.searchmasterclass.net

Stencils make the process of drawing easier for those who "don't know how" (as it seems to him). If you use several stencils at the same time, you can get an unexpected effect.

mtdata.ru

Leaving the part of the image covered by the stencil unpainted, you can pay more attention to the background: sprinkle salt on the still wet surface, apply strokes with a hard brush in different sides etc. Experiment!

www.pics.ru

Several sequentially superimposed stencils and splashes. It is convenient to use an old toothbrush or a hard bristle brush for this purpose.

A knitted snowflake will help create real lace on paper. Any thick paint will do: gouache, acrylic. You can use a can (spray from a short distance strictly vertically).

We draw with wax

Wax drawings look unusual. Using an ordinary (not colored) candle, draw a winter landscape, and then cover the sheet dark paint. The image "appears" right in front of your eyes!

Who are you? Seal?

masterpodelok.com

The effect of fluffy wool will help create a simple trick: flat brush dip in thick paint (gouache) and apply strokes with a “poke”. Drawings with white paint always look better on a dark contrasting background. All shades of blue are perfect for winter motifs.

How to draw winter trees

www.o-children.ru

The crowns of these trees are made using a plastic bag. Dip in paint and dip in right places- that's the whole secret of "snow caps" for trees.

cs311120.vk.me

Suitable for kids finger painting. We dip the index finger in thick gouache and generously sprinkle snow on the branches!

masterpodelok.com

Unusually beautiful snow-covered trees are obtained using a cabbage leaf. Cover a sheet of Beijing cabbage with white gouache - and voila! On a colored background, such a painting looks especially impressive.

www.mtdesign.ru

No cabbage - no problem. Any leaves with pronounced veins will do. You can even donate your favorite ficus. The only BUT, remember that the juice of many plants is poisonous! Make sure that the child does not taste his new “brush”.

The trunk is a handprint. Everything else is a matter of minutes.

A favorite technique for many is blowing paint through a tube. We create “snowiness” using the fingerprints of a small artist.

www.blogimam.com

Not everyone will guess how this charming Birch Grove. The resourceful artist used masking tape! Cut strips of the desired width and glue on White list. Paint over the background and remove the paint. Draw characteristic "lines" so that the birches become recognizable. The moon is made in the same way. Thick paper is suitable for these purposes, the adhesive tape should not be too sticky so as not to damage the top layer of the pattern.

Draw with bubble wrap

mtdata.ru

Apply on bubble wrap white paint and apply to the finished drawing. Here comes the snow!

mtdata.ru

The same technique can be applied in applications.

The snowman has melted. It's a pity…

mtdata.ru

This idea is suitable for the most young artists, and for those who want to make a gift "with humor". Cut out “spare parts” for the snowman from colored paper in advance: nose, eyes, hat, twig hands, etc. Draw a melted puddle, wait for the paint to dry and glue what is left of the poor snowman. Such a drawing could be great gift relatives on behalf of the baby. More ideas in our article.

Draw with palms

www.kokokokids.ru

An easy way to create amazingly touching new year card is to tell a story about funny snowmen. A whole family will turn out if, on the basis of a palm print, draw carrot noses, coal eyes, bright scarves, buttons, twig hands, and hats to your fingers.

What is there outside the window?

ic.pics.livejournal.com

What does the window look like from the street? Unusual! Invite the child to look at the window through the eyes of Santa Claus or another character who may be outside in the most severe cold.

Dear readers! Surely you have your own "winter" drawing techniques. Tell us about them in the comments.

Unconventional technique drawing - drawing with napkins Non-traditional drawing allows you not to limit the manifestation of creative abilities.

unconventional drawing

Wax crayons and wax candle + watercolor

Drawing is one of important species art, which is not only a way to convey this or that image, but also internal feelings, perception of the outside world, emotions, fantasies and much more.

Target: introduce children to the technique of non-traditional drawing.

There are many non-traditional drawing techniques, their unusualness lies in the fact that they allow children to quickly achieve desired result.

Acquainted with methodical literature:

A. V. Nikitina

"Unconventional drawing techniques in kindergarten"

I. A. Lykova

« Toolkit for preschool specialists educational institutions»

T. N. Doronova

"Nature, art and visual activity of children"

R. G. Kazakova

« Visual activity in kindergarten"

After reviewing this literature, I found a lot of interesting ideas and set before me tasks:

    to develop technical drawing skills in children;

    introduce children to non-traditional technique drawing;

    to teach how to create your own unique image, in a drawing according to unconventional drawing, using wax crayons of various colors and a wax candle.

Materials: wax crayons and wax candle, dense White paper, watercolor, bird feather template, scissors, glue, napkin, brush, glass of water, simple pencil for each child.

Progress:

Children guess the riddle:

What is this miracle bird?
Not an owl and not a tit,
Not a crane or a thrush...
Like an open fan tail...
Blue, green, red -
How many colors are on the feathers?
Definitely important sir
Walks around the yard ... (Peacock).

Children's answers.

Educator: Well done, children. Solve the riddle.

Guys! Listen to the poem:

There was a peacock in the zoo. A very important citizen.

He walked on us ... looked. Yes, and twirl his tail.

And on ours. on the eyes. He waved his tail.

The tail opened up…beauty. Multicolored tones.

The overflows played. And the colors all sparkled.

Like a fan has unraveled. The peacock surprised us so much.

Read about him in books. All habits knew him.

As we saw up close ... We quickly opened our mouths.

You can’t call it beauty… You can’t even pick up words.

It's like we're in a fairy tale. And we met a peacock.

Did you like the poem?

Children's answers.

Tell me, please, what, in your opinion, is the most beautiful thing about a peacock?

Children's answers.

Look at the photo.

Of course, the most beautiful detail in the appearance of a peacock is its tail.

A beautiful uppertail of feathers is necessary for a peacock. In order to subdue the female, the peacock unfurls its feather train. A beautiful outfit of feathers exists only in a male peacock.

Physical education minute:

We alternately spread and bring our fingers together first on right hand, then on the left, then on both hands at the same time.

Physical education "Bird":

The bird flew,

cross the palms of the hands

The bird is tired.

The bird folded its wings

make a castle

The bird washed its feathers.

lock rotation

The bird moved its beak

straightened connected little fingers depict a beak

The bird found grains.

The bird ate the grains

connected little fingers knock on the table

Opened the wings again

Flew.

crossed palms making waves

Educator: Guys, let's cut out peacock feathers from paper.

Each child receives a template (peacock feather), white paper, scissors and a pencil.

On a peacock feather cut out (according to a template), we apply a drawing with wax crayons and wax candle. It turns out " magic drawing”, it is there, but it is not visible if we draw with a wax candle.

Then we paint over the pen with watercolor in one or more colors. The drawing comes through and we see where it is drawn with a wax candle, since it remains unpainted. The drawing is also done with wax crayons.

After the drawing (pen) dries, we glue it to the peacock.

Here's what we got.

Conducting classes using non-traditional techniques:

    contributes to the removal of children's fears;

    develops self-confidence;

    develops spatial thinking;

    teaches children to freely express their intention;

    encourages children to creative searches and solutions;

    teaches children to work with a variety of materials;

    develops a sense of composition, rhythm, color, color perception;

    develops creativity.

There is an artist in each of us, and we don't even know it. Remember the parable of "buried talents". But really, many people “bury” their talent in the ground, unable to reveal themselves. This is how “undiscovered talents” walk the streets and live everyday life. It's just that no one paid attention to the makings and abilities in childhood. You need to remember a simple rule - there are no mediocre children, there are undiscovered children. And we, adults, should help to reveal these talents!
As V. A. Sukhomlinsky said: “The origins of the abilities and talents of children are at their fingertips. From the fingers, figuratively speaking, go the thinnest threads-streams, which are fed by the source of creative thought. The more skill in a child's hand, the smarter the child."
