Parents giving a child to early childhood in various dance studios, pursue the goals of harmonious physical development child. Having acquired some skills and abilities during classes in a studio or in a group, young dancers and choreographers need to show their achievements in dance to the general public and the search for choreographic competitions begins. Participation in the competition means new emotions, excitement, the desire to win, the desire to be the best, which means improving the acquired skills and new development.
There are a number of festivals and competitions for children and youth creativity, where among many areas of creativity there is a nomination - choreography. As a rule, such festivals-competitions of various genres are organized by travel companies and, in addition to performances, you are offered a ready-made tourist program with sightseeing tours by cities and visiting the most interesting cultural objects in the country where the festival itself is held. Participation in such competitions is due to the fact that it is necessary to pay in full the participation package, which includes accommodation, meals, excursions. For beginners, traveling to European competitions is the most a good option try your hand - everything is clear - every day of the festival-competition is filled with performances, excursions, master classes. Each group is provided with a local Russian-speaking guide. Usually the cost of a tour to such a festival-competition is more expensive than just a tourist package and this is due to the fact that the organizers of the festival-competition also invest in the cost of the program the costs of organizing and holding concerts, prizes and diplomas, which all participants receive in such competitions.
The next stage - the child and parents decided to engage in choreography professionally and choose different directions - ballroom dance, classical dance, modern variety show dance. There are choreographic competitions in the areas of dance, where participants are only choreographic groups and soloists. The organizers of such competitions are former dancers, leaders own studios famous choreographers. Requirements for entrants and performed dances more stringent, strictly regulated in time. There are such competitions for young children, from 8 years old, in which you can try yourself and decide whether to go further along the path of professionalism or just continue dancing for your own pleasure, and there are such competitions for children from 12-14 years old who decided in the future get a job as a dancer. Prizes in such competitions are often cash prizes, scholarships for dance training in summer schools and European dance schools. And in competitions for young professionals, a contract for work in the European theater can also be an award. The program of such competitions is designed to improve the technical level of dancers, contains competitive performances, master classes and does not involve excursions and any cultural program, so if you decide to go to European country for such a competition, request additional services - transfers, excursions.
Contests ballroom dancing have long turned into a sport and this is a whole separate industry with its own rules.
A separate direction of choreography is folk dances. For teams that improve their skills in folk dances, we offer participation in folklore festivals, where you can meet with various cultural trends and learn new ones. traditional dances or characteristic movements. Organizers folklore festivals offer participants accommodation in families and provide participants with meals during the festival. 1. Boom (Portugal).
Large-scale (and surprisingly environmentally friendly) psi-trance festival in the village of Idanha-a-Nova, Portugal. It lasts almost a week, and begins at the end of July. Here you will find many scenes, and art installations, and master classes, and lectures, and even film screenings.
2. Welcome to the future (Netherlands).
This festival is also respectful of nature - so much so that even the generators here are partially powered by vegetable oil. This is one of the oldest festivals in Amsterdam, which attracts tens of thousands of party-goers from all over the world every year. Here you can hear music of many genres - from techno to house and everything else.
3. Zouk Out (Singapore).
While we - "on the other side of the Equator" - will think about how to survive the cold, a huge beach party will be held in Singapore. 41,000 people attended the ZoukOut event last year. This annual party boasts a great line-up musical talents that even your grandmother might have heard of.
4. Misteriland (Netherlands/Croatia).
When it comes to electronic music, its capital of the world can rightfully be considered the Netherlands. Mysteriland, by the way, is the oldest festival in the Netherlands. It takes place in August, and up to 60,000 people come to it.

6. Shambhala (Canada).
Legendary festival, one of the oldest and most popular in Canada. It doesn’t even have official advertising, but it has been hosted by a local family since the 90s.

16. Kazantip (Crimea - Georgia).

One of the best "white parties" on earth. Great place to dance to house and trance. Held at Easter.
18. Balaton Sound (Hungary).
This large-scale festival on fresh air in the city of Zamardi is so popular that, despite the constant increase in prices for entry tickets, they diverge before they reach official sale. 41. Astropolis (France).
A great festival that has its roots in the underground rave movement. In 2015, it will be held for the 20th time.
42. Hideout (Croatia).
If almost a year before the event, 10,000 tickets sell out within 48 hours, this already says a lot. Maybe it's all about the amazing 24 parties that take place on boats. Maybe 19 hours of continuous music for 4 days. Maybe get closer to your favorite DJs if possible. In any case, you will have to plan ahead if you are going to visit the Hideout festival in Croatia, because. There are a lot of people who want to, but there are not enough tickets for everyone.
