II. Studying new material
Raising Patriots, business people one can be confident both in the development and in the formation of a normal society and a strong state.
Everything should be beautiful in a person: face, clothes, soul, and thoughts.
(A.P. Chekhov).
That's why with early age together with education in every person industriousness is brought up, healthy lifestyle life, aesthetic tastes, morality, sociability, patriotism and other qualities.
Today in the lesson we will think about that wonderful quality of a person that is not subject to time: it has no "age" and is valued as dearly as anything else - the names of such people live in people's memory for centuries.
- Explain why people who find themselves in difficult situations connected by a common danger can behave differently in it?
- Is there, in your opinion, the difference between a hero and a patriot?
- What makes ordinary people peaceful professions perform feats in the name of the Motherland?
Our great homeland is called the Russian Federation. What does the term "federation" mean?
Terminological work
- Look up the definition of the word "federation" in the dictionary.
Federation - a union state consisting of united states or state formations, retaining a certain legal and political independence; appropriate form state structure. (recording the definition in a notebook)
Working with the map
Look at modern map Russia. How colorful she is! Republics, territories, national districts, regions, as well as Moscow and St. Petersburg are marked on it. These are subjects Russian Federation.
Working with the Constitution
Find in the Constitution, what subjects are included in its composition? (Article 65 Chapter 3. 83 equal subjects, including 21 republics, 9 territories, 46 regions, 2 federal cities, 1 autonomous region, 4 autonomous regions)
- In what subject of the Russian Federation do we live?
General official language, general history, common motherland- all this brings together the peoples of the Russian Federation. None among nations great and small. There are only few and numerous, they all have equal rights. All nations deserve respect. Respect for other nations is a trait of a patriot. A real patriot will never humiliate a person of another nationality.
The word "patriot" is borrowed from the Greek language. The ancient Greeks called their countrymen this way (people who were born in one place). Another name for countrymen is compatriots. Already in the ancient meaning The word "patriot" reflects the connection between a person and his place of birth.
The place of birth is called differently: homeland, fatherland, fatherland. In the last two words, one can clearly hear common root. This root indicates that this is the land of the fathers (ancestors).
What does it mean to be a patriot?
The modern dictionary defines the meaning of the word "patriot" as follows: this is a person who loves his Fatherland, devoted to his people, ready for sacrifices and performing feats in the name of the interests of his Motherland (writing the definition in a notebook).
Man has one homeland, as well as own mother. Often these two words are heard side by side - Motherland.
Patriotism- love for the Motherland, one's people (recording the definition in a notebook).
So, to be a patriot, you need to love your homeland. It would seem how simple it is. In the most hard times When mortal danger threatened the Fatherland, people rose to its defense. Such a danger was the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
PATRIOTISM IN THE YEARS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR, the patriotic spirit of the Russian People manifested itself already in the first months of the war. Only in Moscow were formed 12 divisions of the people's militia and 25 destruction battalions. The front-line writer K. Simonov then said about Moscow: "A city that looks like a Russian person, as invincible as the Russian person himself."
Soviet patriotism during the war period was in fact inextricably linked with internationalism, the truly fraternal friendship of the peoples of the USSR.
When we talk about heroic deeds committed in the battle for Moscow, then we mean not only the actions of our army - the heroic Soviet fighters, commanders and political workers. What has been achieved on Western front in October, and then in subsequent battles, became possible only thanks to the unity and common efforts of the troops and the population of the capital and the Moscow region, the effective assistance that the entire country, the entire Soviet people provided to the army and the defenders of the capital.
Patriotism and national unity during the war manifested themselves in various forms Army support. Funds were created for the Red Army, Defense, assistance to families and children of front-line soldiers, disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War. At the expense of the people different nationalities contributed to the Fund
The patriotic impulse of the Russian people manifested itself in numerous cases of heroism in various fields. folk life both among the military and civilians.
The plane of Captain N.F. Gastello on June 26, 1941, during the bombing of an enemy tank column on the Radoshkevichi-Molodechno road, received a hole in the gas tank. There was a fire. Then Gastello, together with the crew (lieutenants A. A. Budenyuk, G. N. Skorobogatov and senior sergeant A. A. Kalinin) decided not to leave the plane on parachutes. The burning car was directed at a cluster of tanks, vehicles and gas tanks, which exploded along with the aircraft, killing many dozens of German soldiers and a large number of military equipment.
The war gave more and more examples of the heroic self-sacrifice of Russian soldiers. Infantry school cadet A. Matrosov voluntarily went to the front as a private. Feb 23 1943 in the battle for the village of Chernushki (Kalinin Front) broke through to the enemy bunker and closed the embrasure with his body, sacrificing himself to ensure the success of his unit. Matrosov saved the lives of dozens of his comrades who found themselves under targeted enemy fire. Taking advantage of the confusion of the enemy, the Russian soldiers went on the attack and drove out the invaders.
- Guys, in the name of what feats were performed, incredible hardships and hardships were endured, why did our distant ancestors and recent predecessors sacrifice their fortune, love, life itself? In the name of the interests of the Fatherland. In what way do you, today's schoolchildren, already graduates, see your patriotic service to the Motherland? Are you ready today for any donation and exploits in the name of the interests of the Motherland?
III. Consolidation.
1. When did the Second World War begin and end. How many days and nights did it last?
2. What feat did Private Alexander Matrosov accomplish? How many soldiers repeated it in WWII?
3. What feat did pilot Viktor Talalikhin accomplish? When it was?
4. When did the Victory Parade take place on Red Square in Moscow?
III.Reflection
At the final stage of reflection on the material, students argue their positions on the topic of the lesson: “What does it mean to be a patriot”, in which there is no longer a question mark.
IV. Homework: pick up proverbs about patriotism.

    Organizing time.

Greetings , creating a favorable work environment.

Remember the poem by N.A. Nekrasov "The Poet and the Citizen":

You may not be a poet, but you must be a citizen,

What is a citizen?

patronymics worthy son

Do you think that the concept of "citizen" used by N.A. Nekrasov and the modern concept of "patriot" are the same? I propose to answer this question.

Today at the classroom hour we are considering a very important topic for every person and citizen: "What does it mean to be a patriot?".

II. Actualization. Formulation of the purpose of the classroom.

Key concepts today's class hour are "Motherland", "patriotism", "civic activity".

Let's remember what we know about our country:

What was the name of our country in the past? (Rus, Russian empire, RSFSR, USSR)

What is the name of our country now? (Russian Federation or Russia) this name appeared in 1991, it is enshrined in the current Constitution of the Russian Federation, adopted in 1993.

What does federation mean? (in case of difficulty, it should be said that we will get to know this concept better during the lesson).

Now look again at the topic of our class hour, what do you think we will talk about today? (about the motherland, love for it, devotion, patriotism, civic engagement.)

III. Presentation of the theme of the classroom.

Let's start by discussing what is for you motherland?

On the board is a cluster that is filled class teacher as students respond.

(Didactic material No. 1 ). Cluster example:

land of ancestors

The place where the person lives

MOTHERLAND

The place where you were born

A place where one feels comfortable

Emotional actualization of the topic occurs with the help of a video fragment - the song "Where the Motherland Begins". Video demonstration.

Do you agree with the poet? Do I need to add something to the cluster?

Our Motherland is a federation. By federation we mean a union of equal members of a single whole.

Now let's move on to the concept patriot».

Emotional actualization of the topic by watching a video clip (demonstration of the video clip "One eccentric ...")

Follow-up discussion questions:

1) Is it enough to be born in one place or another to be considered a patriot? 2) Who can you call a patriot in currently?

Patriot- a person who benefits the Motherland, stands up for her defense if necessary. Please name the professions that require heroism, courage, patience (military personnel, firefighters, miners, pilots ...).

Our ancestors from ancient times considered patriotism to be the main quality of a person, which is confirmed in sayings and proverbs.

Folk Thoughts about the motherland and patriotism help to realize the full power of patriotic feeling and respect for one's fatherland, people.

Look at your tables there is material ( Didactic material No. 2 ), please read, discuss in groups the meaning of proverbs and express your opinion whether you agree with aphorisms, proverbs, sayings folk wisdom. (Proverbs are read and commented)

Take care of your dear land, like a beloved mother

In the battle for the Fatherland and death is red

    Houses and walls help

    Needed where was born

The main thing in life is to serve the Fatherland

For your Motherland, do not spare either strength or life

The smoke of the Fatherland is lighter than someone else's fire

To live - to serve the Motherland

Who is a mountain for the Motherland, that is a true hero

Who loves the motherland and people is a true patriot

Whoever loves the Motherland, she will not be indebted to him

Whoever serves the Motherland faithfully, fulfills that duty approximately

Love for the motherland is stronger than death

On the other side, the Motherland is doubly sweet

In a foreign land, and kalach is not a joy, but in the homeland, black bread is a sweetness

There is no more beautiful in the world than our Motherland

About those and the radio broadcasts who defends the Motherland

One mother is dear and the motherland is one

Motherland is a mother, know how to stand up for her

They protect their homeland with their heads

Homeland, like parents do not choose

Native land - paradise to the heart

WITH native land- die don't go

Feel free to go into battle, the Motherland is behind you

That land is sweet, where the mother gave birth

Only he will be honored who loves his Motherland not in word, but in deed.

So, patriot- this is a citizen who takes care of his Motherland, about its nature, defending its honor, knowledgeable of history of their country.

Students are invited to complete the cluster and thereby answer the question from the topic of the class hour: "What does it mean to be a patriot?"

Work on a separate sheet. (Didactic material No. 3 ) At the same time, a video fragment is played (D. Maidanov)

IV. Consolidation.

Vladimir Putin put it this way: “If we want to live better, we need to make the country more attractive to everyone. We do not and cannot have any other unifying idea other than patriotism, because if this is the case, every citizen will live better, and there will be more prosperity and more comfort. This is the national idea." (See the video clip “Putin on Patriotism”).

national idea- this is a true religious, socio-political and cultural self-awareness of the people, an understanding of its historical destiny. The national idea rests on an active civic position.

Active civil position is an acquired quality that develops and improves throughout a person’s life.

Active citizenship implies an interest in community service, initiative, diligence, awareness of personal significance, the presence of organizational skills.

It is in the team that such important motives of behavior and activity are formed. young man as a sense of duty, collectivism, camaraderie.

V. Summarizing. Reflection.

Let's get back to the words of N.A. Nekrasov about "citizen", in what sense did he use given word?

Of course, for Nekrasov, the concept of "citizen" is identified with modern concept"patriot".

Complete the phrase: "I want to be a patriot because..."

Let's create a syncaine:

Noun - the concept of a topic (For example, a citizen, a patriot ...)

Two adjectives...

Three verbs...

A sentence expressing the main idea...

Noun (synonym for the concept being expanded, reflecting the conclusion)

Examples of syncwines written by students on this topic:

The conversation is summed up - b being a patriot is not so difficult, real love to the Motherland is not only and not so much expressed in words, but is supported by concrete deeds. So - everything is in our hands!

IN Lately in our country, more and more people began to talk about patriotism and the need for appropriate education of young people. One gets the impression that society has been covered by another wave fashion themes, terms, ideas about what qualities a person should have. What is behind these conversations: empty ornate or serious intentions? This and many other questions are answered by the rector of the church in the name of the holy chief apostles Peter and Paul in Saratov, chairman of the Council of the Patriot Orthodox military-patriotic club, Chief Editor magazine "Orthodoxy and Modernity" and a journalist who visited "hot spots", hegumen Nektariy (Morozov).

Father Nektary, why do you think they are talking about patriotism now?

— If you observe how reality correlates with the slogans proclaimed through the media, you will notice that often an active discussion of something is associated with a complete absence of what they are talking about. Now the situation is such that we talk a lot about patriotism. And it is clear why: there are problems in the relations between states on the world stage, in international politics, there are serious problems within our country. Here the theme of patriotism rises to the shield. But if we look at how the work aimed at patriotic education is carried out in the Russian regions, we will see that the funds allocated for this work a year amount to tens of thousands. Although, for example, in Kazan, as I heard, millions are spent on this. Apparently, someone is interested in the development of patriotic education in Kazan, and not in the Saratov region. Why? It's hard for me to answer.

As for fashion, patriotism, as they say today, is a kind of trend. On the other hand, those who are really engaged in patriotic education today can refer to the President's statements and relevant documents, thus substantiating the need for what they are doing, and this is important.

Everything is generally ambiguous. It would seem that the law “On the Patriotic Education of Citizens of the Russian Federation” is being prepared for adoption, and even at the stage of its preparation, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education and Science cannot decide which of them should be engaged in patriotic education, shifting this responsibility to each other. And at the same time, there are military-patriotic clubs in Russia, in which leaders and teachers are enthusiasts who have found the time, strength and means to carry out this work, often in the full sense of the word, on a voluntary basis.

Do you think the sudden interest in patriotism means that things are not going well in a society with patriotic feelings?

- Just look at the statistics: a lot of people are leaving the country. If in the 1990s they left in search of a better life or hiding from responsibility for the crimes committed, today they leave from hopelessness, the desire to live by the law and have certain guarantees. And this is scary, because, as a rule, it is not children and not pensioners who emigrate, but young and active people. By the way, many people, when they talk about Russia, are increasingly calling it either “this country” or using other names. Rarely does anyone say "Russia", even more rarely - "Motherland" or "Fatherland".

Tell me, who should be engaged in the education of patriots?

- First of all, the power to which the people have entrusted the administration of the state and which must realize the trust. But, of course, parents should educate and teach at the same time, without waiting for their children to be taught by the school, the street, the computer, the TV. And, in fact, there is no one to expect patriotic education except from the patriots. You just need to ask them for help. We have heroes wonderful people vegetating in obscurity after the wars in which they participated. They need to be involved in the work, especially since they themselves would like it. But so far this is not happening. There is a saying: "Words edify, but deeds lead." So today slogans turn away, words irritate, and only deeds really attract people.

How much is being done by the state to educate patriots? Is it done at all?

- Conducted periodically various events, usually for show. But if you think about it, what do they have to do with patriotic education? What do they teach and what do they give? To achieve results, systematic work is needed. From the first grade, the concept of the Motherland should be formed in the minds of children. But this is not. If a child does not have certain established priorities, then he will not pay attention to them and will grow up as a person with different principles and aspirations.

In the Soviet Union, a schoolchild had an idea that his country was, it must be loved and protected. And it was a given that no one thought to dispute. It was considered sacred. Naturally, in a healthy society healthy attitude to patriotism, and in the sick - the corresponding. Today there is another given: did you earn and buy? So you are successful. Otherwise you empty place. Here is the ideology of modern Russian society. We scold the Americans for many things, but their patriotism comes first. They have different forms patriotic education, which, although they seem ridiculous, stupid, artificial, but work. They have pride in their country and love for it, perhaps pragmatic, utilitarian, mercenary, but it exists.

What is happening with us? Here is an example: people who returned home after the fighting in Chechnya. They had to kill, comrades died before their eyes, they were seriously injured, and around a society that does not understand them at all. No one took care of them and no one is going to. And this is the real crime. Therefore, with patriotism, we are really bad. But not hopeless. The Russian people in itself are a patriotic people, possessing an amazing ability to recover from the shocks experienced. We have not yet reached the point of no return, although we are diligently led to it.

You mentioned the concept of the Motherland. What do you think, what is the Motherland for us, because it, its face is constantly changing?

- A person's face also changes with age: it becomes decrepit, wrinkles appear. Sometimes a person in old age is not very similar to himself in his youth or childhood. But the soul remains the same. When we talk about the Motherland, we need to keep in mind not the face and other external signs, but the soul inherent in it. In order to recognize this soul, you need to thoughtfully and carefully study our history, which is made up of destinies. specific people, and understand that the time in which we live is also part of it. Each of us has a specific place in history. And the answer to the question of what the Motherland is for us, what it is and what it will be, can only be found in oneself.

But still, what do we need to love?

- When a person loves, he himself determines who for him is the one he loves. Here a young man loves a girl and sees in her something that others do not notice, because he looks at her with the eyes of love. The same thing happens when a person looks at his country. It is impossible to tell what his country is if he does not understand it with his heart. What is his country? IN Soviet times said: "One-sixth of the land." But, in addition, this is history, glorious military victories and bitter defeats, the history of Russian Orthodox Church, art, literature. The more a person learns about his country, the closer he comes to becoming its patriot. Because being a patriot without knowing anything is somehow strange.

Why do you need to be a patriot? And is it necessary at all?

- The very question contradicts the essence of patriotism, which consists in selfless love to the country. Why do you need to love? If you read what the Apostle Paul says about love, then you need to love in order to give, sacrifice, forgive, demand nothing and keep love, regardless of what happens in response. It turns out that it is unprofitable to love and be a patriot, since a person is required to be ready to give his life for his Motherland, despite the fact that she may not take care of him. On the other hand, a person who does not love is an inferior person, because sacrificial love something natural to our nature. Therefore, to be a patriot is necessary in order to be a real person. Why be a real person? To think differently, feel and experience life, released by God. How many people live who, it would seem, have everything except happiness: they are not able to rejoice, love, give and receive warmth, since there is no place for it in their hearts.

Is it difficult in our time to be a patriot, respectively, a real person?

“It’s hard to be a patriot at all times. For example, the Roman hero Gaius Mucius Scaevola, refusing to betray his people and state and showing that he was not afraid of torture, burned own hand in front of the enemies. A patriot is a person who must always be ready to sacrifice something, and this is very difficult. But there are sacrifices that impoverish, and there are those that enrich us.

Can faith, Orthodoxy in particular, educate patriots?

- A believer, by definition, must be a patriot. Now such a trend as Ouranopolitism is developing within Orthodoxy. In my opinion, this is a false ideology, main idea which lies in the fact that since our fatherland is the Heavenly Fatherland, we should not concentrate on love for the earthly Fatherland. But the Lord gave a man to be born into some kind of family. And it's not always perfect or just good family. However, we are commanded to honor our parents. This commandment also implies honoring the country in which a person was born. We call the country Fatherland or Motherland, because here we were born, here we have a family connection with our history and people. If a person does not love his parents, then I have serious doubts that he is a believer. Accordingly, if a believer does not love his Fatherland, then, probably, there is a big flaw in his Christian self-consciousness and worldview. Faith teaches a person to be a patriot. And the believer must be ready to lay down his life for his friends, that is, not only for his family and friends, but also for the country, for the entire community of people in which the Lord has led him to live.

What do you think will happen to a state in which there are no patriots?

- Hitler wanted to turn many countries into territories where one could study agriculture, extract minerals and organize some kind of production. When there is no such thing as patriotism in a state, then it becomes such a territory.

Interviewed by Daria Khokhlova

And he was instilled from an early age, sometimes in a forced form, then respect and love for the state is everyone's business.

Manifestations of patriotism

Who is this and how are patriotic feelings manifested? Someone considers himself such, because he speaks exclusively in the state language and honors traditions, someone has made a significant contribution to the history of the country, and someone is sick of every event in the Motherland.

A patriot respects and remembers the history of his country, he proudly accepts both victories and defeats, without trying to ridicule or humiliate.

You can feel patriotic feelings for the state in which you live, or you can feel like a part of it being thousands of kilometers away.

Of course, one can call patriots people who daily, investing their strength, work for the good of the country, teachers who instill respect for the state in future citizens. manifests itself in small things and adds up to one big feeling of pride in the country.

To be a patriot is to believe in the future of the country, to see the prospects and strive for them, this is a shiver that permeates the whole body at the very first chords of the anthem. The patriot is ready to devote to the Motherland, to act in its interests and to die for its sake, if necessary.

Patriotism and emigration

Often people leave the country due to various circumstances. Perhaps someone does this because they do not want to live there, someone is forced by life, but the distance cannot cause the loss of patriotic feelings. When a person, already living under a different sky, worries about the Motherland, even in small things, for example, rooting for her sports team or indifferent to cultural events it only earns respect.

It is better to nurture and develop a sense of patriotism in yourself than a sense of shame and hatred, because it is pointless to blame your location for failures.

If the citizens of a country are not imbued with its problems, do not worry about its fate and do not respect it, then they first of all laugh at themselves, at the history of their lives. Life beyond the horizon always seems different, new and more promising, but it is not in vain that they say that it is good where we are not. It is better to try to improve your own than to stare at someone else's, already created by someone state space.

The future of the country is in the hands of its inhabitants, it is they who create its positive or negative image for other states, it is they who create its history.

Holding an event

I'm a patriot. I am Russian air
I love the Russian land.
I believe that nowhere in the world
I won't find another one like it.
N. Kogan

It is with these words of Nikolai Kogan that I would like to start our conversation: “What does it mean to be a patriot today?”

Student: look at Dictionary Dahl: “A patriot is one who loves his fatherland, is devoted to his people, is ready for sacrifices and deeds in the name of the interests of his Motherland.

Teacher: Let's try to understand our thoughts, feelings, attitudes towards this concept. Therefore, today I invite you to the free microphone.

Sample student responses

Student 1.“A patriot is a person who loves his homeland, is ready to defend it, but not necessarily with weapons in his hands. Knowing and accepting the history of your country, no matter how they talk about it, is important, and especially today.”

Student 2. “A patriot in my understanding is a person who works and is socially active, builds his future, linking it only with his Fatherland. He will do much more than a person who is ready to defend the prestige of the country in words. This is much more difficult than just talking about love for the motherland. This is true patriotism."

Student 3.“Being a patriot in our time is very difficult, there is a lot of temptation around - the pursuit of money, leading to an escape from Russia. To be a patriot means to be the master of your country, not a guest. In case of danger, be able to protect her, handle her gifts with care”

Student 4.“Unfortunately, sometimes patriotism is interpreted incorrectly. On the screen, we see groups of "skins" who, with a firm conviction that they are right, beat innocent people of a different nationality to death. “Russia for Russians!”, “Let’s cleanse Russia of blacks!” - they shout ... It is wonderful, of course, that people have a desire to ensure that a larger percentage of the country's inhabitants are Russians ... But this does not mean that others should be exterminated! There is a sea of ways... Violence is the worst of them... You know, a lie always cuts the ear... Therefore, it is disgusting and furious to me that they cover themselves with the word "patriot".

Student 5.“Probably few of us asked ourselves this question. And why? Apparently, we are so busy with everyday worries and problems that we are not up to it. What is the most important thing for our parents now? Give us children a good education. And the kids go crazy American films and proudly declare: "We are not patriots" And not all parents will be scared when they hear this phrase. Or maybe there is nothing to be afraid of? It is still unknown what the teenager wanted to say. "I don't like my country" or "I want to live in a rich and prosperous country." And yet it is safe to say that the Russian people are patriots. Not for show, no"

Student 6.“The first thing that comes to mind when people talk about patriotism is America. Those who loudly declare to the whole world that they are patriots are the Americans. Patriotism has become calling card USA. Americans make films patriotic themes write about it in the press"

Student 7.“I do not agree with such conclusions,” in my opinion, this is abnormal or pathological patriotism. The bombing of Iraq because of the weapons of mass destruction allegedly located there and Yugoslavia because of nothing at all - they didn’t like the president - these are all the consequences of their "patriotism". Their "patriotism" has nothing to do with real Patriotism, so I think we have nothing to learn from the Americans.

Student 6.“We must look for flaws not in others - in ourselves. We must not criticize and hate someone else's, but make our own better"

Pupil 8“A true patriot, in my opinion, should at least know the history of his country. How can you love your Motherland without knowing anything about it?! Is it possible to consider people who allegedly fight for the purity of the Slavic race, they don’t know the history of this very race, it’s written on their faces: aggression and the desire to fight no matter who. Here is a statement that can be read on the fence "Beat the Jews" - this is some regular "patriot" calling us. And, probably, it did not occur to him that knowledge of his native language is included in the list of requirements for a true patriot. And a true patriot will not yell at every corner about his passionate love for the motherland, he will simply silently do his job, thereby really helping the country.

Student 10.“And I think that knowledge of state symbols is also a manifestation of patriotism. We did a little sociological research at school.

Presentation. Slide #3. Based on the opinions of students in our school, the results were as follows:

  1. 98% of respondents know what is depicted on the state emblem;
  2. 100% know the colors of the national flag and their location;
  3. 95% can name the first verse national anthem;
  4. Feelings experienced when they see or hear state symbols - pride, admiration, sympathy
  5. To promotions for the distribution of ribbons (three-colored) with national symbols the majority of the respondents are positive.

Teacher: The conversation can go on for a long time ... There will always be pros and cons, there will be other interpretations of the problem. IN classical sense the word "patriotism" never changed its meaning.

Presentation. Slide number 4.

Student: Let us recall the words of A.S. Pushkin:

“I swear on my honor that in the world I would not want to change the Fatherland or have a different history than the history of our ancestors.” Let us turn to the history of our ancestors: in the war against Napoleon, patriots died for Russia, millions of patriots died in the Great Patriotic War ... They were all ready for a feat for the sake of their native land ...

Presentation. Slide number 5.(sounds bell ringing, and the student speaks words about A. Nevsky against the background of this sound).

Student: Prince A. Nevsky lived only 43 years old, he became a prince at the age of 16, at 20 he defeated the Swedes in the battle on the Neva River, and at 22 he won a famous victory on ice Lake Peipus. And his name was glorified. And then, with his cautious policy, he saved Rus', allowed her to get stronger, recover from ruin. He is the founder of the revival of Russia!

Student: my homeland, my Russia in those people that she can be proud of ...

Presentation. Slide number 6. The music of Tchaikovsky sounds, against the background of it, words about N.I. Vavilov are read

“Let's go to the fire, we will burn, but we will not give up our convictions” - these words belong to the great Russian scientist Nikolai Ivanovich Vavilov. His whole life and work were a confirmation of these words. The world famous botanist, geneticist, traveler and researcher, Nikolai Ivanovich in 1929. become an academician of the USSR. He is the first president of the All-Union Agricultural Academy of the USSR. The purpose of his life was science. He never forgot that he was a citizen of his country, even when he was arrested in 1940 and accused of leading an anti-Soviet counter-revolutionary organization. He perceived the Motherland as the only thing that cannot be bought, sold, or changed, although he was offered the best laboratories in the world. In prison, he continues to work hard, writes the book "History of the Development of World Agriculture", more than a hundred lectures on genetics. While on death row, Vavilov wrote: “Having extensive experience and knowledge in the development of crop production, I would be happy to give myself completely to my Motherland.” He died of starvation in 1943 in the Saratov prison...

Teacher: Examples true patriotism you can continue...

Presentation. Slide number 7.

My village above the sky is clear
Do you remember the terrible battles?
Under the blue, under the obelisk
Your defenders are lying.

72 warriors Soviet army died a heroic death in January 1943, freeing Livenka from the fascist invaders. These are soldiers and officers of the 48th Guards Red Banner Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov of the Krivoy Rog Rifle Division.

Presentation. Slide #8.

On all fronts of the Great Patriotic War, about 2,500 Liven soldiers fought. 613 did not return.

Student: We can read about the exploits of Russian people in books, ask veterans, or visit a museum.

Presentation. Slide number 9. There is a museum in our village. The main direction of our museum's work is military-patriotic. Most of The expositions are connected with the military exploits of fellow countrymen and the military period in the history of the village.

Presentation. Slide number 10. From the archives of the museum: “We have before us a photograph of Ivan Ivanovich Ponamarev, a former sailor of the Northern Fleet. After being wounded, he was assigned to an infantry division. I didn’t think, I didn’t guess that he would have to be the first, before the advanced units, with the joyful news of the imminent liberation, to enter his native village. And it happened like this. The three of us went to investigate. The commander of the Drobyazko group, who knew very well German, radio business, charter of the fascist army. Checkered German raincoats with deep hoods hid soldier earflaps and gray overcoats from prying eyes. And here is the native village of Livenka. The house where I was born and raised. Only the sailor did not recognize him at once. The night is dark. And from a distance it seems that the house is uninhabited. The windows are lined with bags. Come closer, knock. Nobody opened it for a long time. Finally the bolts rattled and the door opened. We met him with concern. They did not recognize the voice, and a small kaganets made from a cartridge case illuminated only a small circle of the table. German raincoats aroused suspicion and fear.

Father, answer. It's me - your son Ivan!

I didn’t die, dad, I’m alive, here I am.

Shuffling steps were heard, the father, screwing up his eyes, went up to the speaker, ran his hand along his cheek and said:

Right! Ivan, the mole is in place. But suddenly he frowned:

So what are you? Sold to the Germans? he raised his voice.

No, dad, we are our own, Soviet. We have a task.

Well, if so, it means a son! - Father said still warily.

And only in the morning, when, at the signal of the scouts, the advancing troops captured the Palatovka station and liberated Livenka, did the father believe that his son Ivan, a sailor from the North Sea, was alive.

For his military career, Ivan Ivanovich was awarded by the government with 9 medals, among them: the medal "For military merit” and the medal “For the Defense of Stalingrad”, as well as the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree.

Now our countryman is not with us, but we cannot forget about his role in the liberation of the village. Indeed, it is thanks to the skillful actions of the reconnaissance group Soviet troops drove the enemy out of the village least loss. And we must not forget our countrymen.

The poet B. Kovtun has these lines:

We are not full of bread alone!
And if there is emptiness in the soul -
We will also be forgotten
There will be no cross over us.

Teacher: Memory, memory, memory... it is like bonfires in the snow, which sanctify and sanctify, warming the hearts of the older generation, and beckoning young people who go out on their own roads.

Student: And who keeps this memory, who completes the material, is engaged in educational work? Can these people be considered patriots of their small homeland? Who are they? To understand this, we invited the director of the museum, Alexander Vasilyevich Kononov, to our meeting. (Speech by the director of the museum Kononov A.V.)

Presentation. Slide number 11, 12. photos of history teachers - founders of the museum.

Student: Let's stop at the stand "Warriors - Internationalists". In one of the photographs, my father is Sergey Fedorovich Kirillov. He performed his military duty in Afghanistan. I turned to him with a question: “Dad, what do you think, serving in the Army is patriotism. Indeed, today many young people, having received a diploma of higher education and finding a decent job, do not want to serve in the Army? There are, of course, those who are simply afraid that they may return from there disabled. Do you think they are not patriots? - (video or possible presence of the participant at the class hour)

Student: our group addressed the head of the cadet class, Sergei Dmitrievich Adamov, with the same question. Here are his thoughts:

“In my opinion, military service is not an ideal indicator of patriotism. By patriotism, I mean the activity of a person for the good of the Motherland, regardless of profession or position. How effectively it works depends on the activity of the entire state. Therefore, patriotism is the full-blooded return of human activity for the benefit of its people and state. History knows the confirmation of this. Take, for example, civil uprising during the Great Patriotic War. Some of the people from its composition were not military personnel at all, but this did not prevent them from showing unprecedented courage and heroism. Is this not a manifestation of patriotism?

And those who work in the rear for 20-22 hours a day, giving the front much-needed ammunition, medicines, uniforms. Peasants swollen with hunger, but supplying food to the front.

They did not serve in the army, they were not military personnel, but how can you blame them for the lack of patriotism?

Therefore, if a young man has received a diploma of higher education, works with full dedication for people, he can be considered a patriot for his country. Even if he did not serve in the army, the language will not turn to accuse him of lack of patriotism.

Another thing is the defense of the motherland. In this case, military service is indeed the main component of the patriotic education of a person. The young man must overcome the fear of the army, and the state must take care of this - not allowing "hazing". And they can make a disabled person on the street or in the alley. So why don't we go out now?"

I think that at a crucial moment for their homeland, every citizen should stand up for his people and state. For his effective protection, the young man must pass military service. Here the state must take a tough stance. And in this case, refusal to serve can indeed be seen as a lack of patriotism.”

Let's make an associative series

"Patriot, who is he?"

  1. Everyone who loves the place where he was born and raised
  2. The one who loves and does not forget his mother, his home
  3. Who proudly realizes that there is no better country on Earth than ours.
  4. The nature of Russia is fabulously rich. The one who not only loves, but also protects nature.
  5. Ready to defend the Fatherland
  6. Defends the prestige of his country
  7. Knows state symbols
  8. I am ready to give all my strength and abilities to my homeland
  9. A patriot is one who decorates the Motherland with his labor
  10. Builds his future, linking it only with his fatherland
  11. Knows his native language
  12. He knows the history of his country, is proud of his ancestors.

Teacher:

Patriots are not born, they are made. And no matter how much anyone talks about patriotism, all these are words. Truth in the soul. As Sergei Yesenin said, “Let us be poor, let us be cold, hungry, but we have a soul, we’ll add from ourselves - the Russian soul.” It was with such thoughts that the anthem of our small homeland"Livensky waltz" by our compatriot Nadezhda Andreevna Bityutskaya (students sing a song).
